Tesla will open some of its fast chargers, which had been exclusive to its customers, to all electric vehicles by the end of next year, the Biden administration said on Wednesday as it announced a broad effort to improve charging and encourage more people to buy battery-powered vehicles.
Are you interested in a solution to your issue or just venting? It doesn't really matter but will influence what kind of responses you get. I'll tackle finding a solution.
Have you attempted to make the changes you want in the Sync screen? Your problem could be a connectivity issue, a Ford...
Tesla opened up use of its chargers because it wanted access to IRA money. What influence did Elon Musk have in the executive order specifically targeting Tesla's competition? Nobody knows. What influence did Elon Musk have in tariff threats that would disproportionately affect Tesla's...

1. Phone reset.
2. Sync reset. Press and hold volume down and skip ahead on your steering wheel until the center screen goes blank.
3. Slide the navigation screen with your finger then press the recenter button.
4. Do nothing, it will probably fix itself.
This is why you need to reference the spreadsheet while making changes. Not all trucks have the same OEM configuration. What works for a '22 Platinum might not be the same as a '24 Flash.
There's no reason to remove mods for a trip to the dealership. You aren't breaking any laws or voiding any warrantee unless you cause the issue that the dealership is working on. Even then I put the odds that a dealership detects any Forscan mods close to zero.
To date, OTAs have not screwed up Forscan mods. This makes sense because these are Ford configurations not something some internet yahoo made up.
An OTA shouldn't change a configuration. For instance, my truck has the cabin acceleration noise from the factory. Others have used Forscan to...
No, I was looking at the available display options in Forscan and decided the stock configuration is best. I believe the original configuration is no longer available.
Do you have a computer? Forgetting things isn't really the issue, inputting the wrong thing would be an issue. If you want to dip your toes into Forscan start with something simple like removing the "Full View Not Available" box in the backup cam.
There are a lot of YouTube videos about how to...
Agreed. The point I was trying to make is don't make a change without backing it up. If you want to revert to some prior configuration just make sure you save the current configuration first. If the old configuration screws something up reload the newer configuration and figure out another way...
This is worst case scenario; where do you place the odds of this occurring? 10%? 90%? It's sort of pointless to talk about possibilities without probabilities.
The other part of the equation is the cost of the truck. For instance: is 10% off MSRP worth a 10% chance or your worst case scenario...
OTAs have never screwed up any of my mods.
Don't think too hard about it. Every time you make a change back up the module settings. They are time stamped so you can go back to whatever place you want. I wouldn't suggest going back multiple changes ago but it shouldn't hurt anything. Even if it...
