Yea you can do that since that rack narrows towards the top. Iām planning to get those towers as well for different applications but I also plan to use them right on top of the Retrax Pro with slim skyline towers and for that you need the 78s. So Iām planning 78s for max flexibility.
Hereās a...
Something like this may just need to happen and plug into rear 12v and then feed under seat or between seat and center console to the front.
Quick Charge 3.0 and PD 18W USB C Outlet Car Charger, 200W High Power Cigarette Lighter Splitter 3 Socket with Cigarette Lighter Function, LED Voltmeter...
Interested in what option you find. If something easy, Iād be interested to add one to center console AND even back to the regular in dash location (and Iād try to relocate the fuse reset to secondary glovebox or somewhere like that).
Ok so thatās a real bummer for me. Not that I canāt accomplish most of what I want with a regular 110v outlet, but the 12v somewhere in center console or similarly ātuckedā away somewhere makes for a very clean install of accessories. Disappointing to say the least.
Wait...thereās no lighter plug in the center console?! How about somewhere else outside the center console but lower in the footwell on either side? My BMW has a slick one available on the underside of the passenger footwell which made it super easy to hide the cables.
1. Roof or Bed or both? Bed for me attached to RetraxPro XR tonneau cover t-slot rail
2. Which one are you planning? Iām going with Yakima Skyline towers and Yakima HD bar
3. What size are you planning? Iām undecided between Yakima HD 68 and 78 inch
I'm starting to lean towards the same 295/60R20 Load E Nitto Ridge Grapplers and Fuel Covert 20x9 +20mm Anthracite wheels...(and likely a BDS 2.5 inch level)/
What do you think the difference will be in ride with that set up vs. the stock Limited 22's and General Grabber tires?
Iām honestly pretty āmeh...ā on the raptor. No powerboost, no propower onboard, etc. Iām more impressed with the regular F150 (getting a Limited) so maybe Iām just getting old, have different use cases in mind, etc
I will exchange a number of emails with the aftermarket department of my dealership this coming week. Will revert back with the position on all this as I plan to highlight this risk and wanna make sure I get in writing that they will back any issues with the sensors.
My dealership installs tint standard on all windows (I guess makes sense here in Houston) so Iāll just go with theirs...donāt feel need to overwork it.
But they donāt do sunroof by default and said theyād install it if I wanted it. Iāve read several threads on how this could be great but could...
No question on the BDS quality more about the price. If the kit is $163, then the labor and alignment is ~$600. Does that seem fair? I have no idea...
They also say everything is lifetime warrantied and no impact on factory warranty.
Is this a good deal? My dealership only does BDS and is offering a BDS leveling kit, installation, and alignment for $795.
Not even sure what BDS leveling kit theyāre referring to for 21s. I only see this 2.5 inch one but maybe same for 2021 as well...
