  1. Spray in Bed Liner and Bed Bolts

Linex sprayed over mine. They said nothing about voiding the warranty. I’ll be pretty upset if that is the case
  2. Looks like the SCALPING market is dead (for now).

Probably there are better places to do financial research than an Internet forum.
  3. Looks like the SCALPING market is dead (for now).

Every time this subject has come up on this forum I shake my head. Why is anyone worrying about who can afford this pickup and who should buy it or not. Seems kind of odd & what is the motive behind it?
  4. Looks like the SCALPING market is dead (for now).

I agree with everything you’ve said. My point is that saying a certain amount of income is an indicator of whether you can afford this vehicle is false. Many that make over $200k cannot afford it and many that make under that amount can afford it. As in the book the millionaire next door...
  5. Looks like the SCALPING market is dead (for now).

It is amazing to me that people make assumptions what other people can afford. They have no idea how these people spend their money, have invested their money, do they have rent or house payments, do they have kids or any other idea of what they can afford.
  6. Pro-Trailer Stickers - Did Your Truck Come With Them?

I found this article on the module vs stickers. According to this maybe the module was short lived. https://pickuptrucktalk.com/2021/07/sticker-or-sensor-box-2021-ford-f-150-pro-trailer-backup-assist-changes/
  7. Any Issues With Road Rage or Hecklers?

My wife took ours to Walmart picking up groceries for a friend. When the person from Walmart asked where she wanted the groceries she pointed to the trunk. He just stood there with a look like she must be nuts. She opened the trunk & he was pretty surprised. ?
  8. Interesting perspective on state of EV chargers and economics.

I went to the local Flying J Saturday to have a propane bottle filled. The manager filled the bottle for me. I asked him if they had plans for electric chargers. He said yes they are in the process & planning. They have the extra land already & are planning for chargers & extra parking...
  9. âś… 8/29 Lightning Build Week Group

Thanks for your work on this. Much appreciated!
  10. âś… 8/29 Lightning Build Week Group

I also took delivery on the 5th. Received my Sunrun FedEx tracking today. It should arrive on next Tuesday. I have all the wiring installed, just a matter of wiring in the charger.
  11. An EV Battery Issue Probably Not Anticipated

You are right. If one is to check the statistics of ice vehicle fires it’s pretty staggering. The reality is that if you put enough energy in to move a heavy vehicle for miles you are always going to have a potential for a disaster. We have grown to accept it for ice vehicles.
  12. An EV Battery Issue Probably Not Anticipated

I think you missed the point of my post. I’m well aware that all these vehicles were probably ice vehicles.
  13. An EV Battery Issue Probably Not Anticipated

As a retired firefighter the EV fire issue is something I’m certainly interested in. To put it in perspective here is another issue. https://www.firerescue1.com/vehicle-fire/articles/video-families-flee-as-fire-burns-73-vehicles-at-texas-pumpkin-patch-Xntwy2Ohgl1WbVgN/

  16. F150 Lightning Extended Warranty from Ford Protect at $50 Over Cost!

I used my cell phone & went through the process & credit card was charged. I received an e-mail from them today & it said that nothing went through on their end. I tried a good part of the afternoon calling them without anyone ever answering on their end. I sent an e-mail showing the charge...
  17. Munroe's F-150 Lightning Underbody Review (Independent Rear, Trailing Arm Suspension, Etc.)

I’ve noticed that rust on almost every review I’ve seen on the Lightning. I checked mine that just arrived today. No rust but probably will see it after driving in the first rain. My guess is it’s nothing to worry about
  18. F150 Lightning Extended Warranty from Ford Protect at $50 Over Cost!

Cell phone did the trick. Thanks I purchased the 8 yr 125,000 miles with 100 deductible with the key and lights extra. The new pricing only raised it 7.7% or $145 from before the increase. Rather it wasn't raised but certainly not the 10 or 11% reported by some.
  19. F150 Lightning Extended Warranty from Ford Protect at $50 Over Cost!
