Driveway was the same for my Tacoma. It took a month from getting that quote until the vehicle was gone and paid. If you have that kind of time, it’s great. They should be filing for bankruptcy in the next few years as there’s no way they are making a profit. My taco went to a dealer out of...
Remote start works great with ford pass on my pro. Haven’t had any issues with the fob either. Obviously, the pro doesn’t have keyless entry or anything fancy, but works great for what it is.
There’s a lot of testing on this and I believe what it does is creates too much drag. Here’s the myth busters on this years ago with different variations on the tailgate/tonneau cover. https://www.dakota-durango.com/threads/mythbusters-study-mpg-savings-of-various-bed-modifications.117618/
Added the gator roll up tonneau cover yesterday. Picked it up for $209 on Amazon. East install. Definitely impacted range a bit on the highway, but worth it if you need to cover some equipment up. I did a test with it rolled up on the same route and the range was better (roughly .2 to .3 better...
Coming from a 2013 model S, the regen is very similar on the Pro. At 1k miles on it between city and highway and downtown Detroit driving, no issues at all adapting to the regen. You will figure it out with time.
If it were only that easy. Current state laws and franchise laws prevent this from happening immediately. The reason Tesla has been successful is that they don’t sell in those states and are a startup that doesn’t have franchises. You have to remember that ford started franchising 100 years ago...
Definitely DM Mike Levine and Jim Farley’s twitter accounts regarding this. They have been pretty good about responding to abuse cases from what I’ve seen on there. This makes me appreciate my local dealer. I can’t believe that’s how some are treating customers. Unbelievable, and brand damaging.
I noticed that my pro keys came with the SecuriCode access code for the "Keyless Entry System" even though I don't have that on the pro, nor is it an option. Has anyone else received the same and considering adding it? I found a tutorial on an older F150 on how to add it after the fact and I...
It’s a hard plastic, but has plenty of grooves to grip items and slots to lock items in place. You also have hooks in there for bags and a net is included to hold items. With the drain there, you could power wash it if you want or pull the insert out and power wash it on the ground.
What tonneau cover did you go with? I was going to get a ford one, but decided on a gator roll up. Should have it in a few days. Still figuring out what sidestep/running board option to go with.
Carpet frunk mat doesn’t make sense to me. With groceries, building materials, kids sporting equipment, etc. the rubber in the frunk is super easy to clean with a shop vac and spills wipe away. No need for the mat.
Antenna replacement. Here’s what I got:
Bingfu Car Radio Antenna Mast Carbon Fiber Truck Antenna Replacement for Ford F150 Raptor F250 F350 F450 Super Duty, Dodge RAM 1500 2500 3500, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep https://a.co/d/g9zy1nH
It posted the date as the day after I purchased it. I'm going to guess that TaxmanHog is correct and that it's the date the finance manager completes the sale in the system.
