The MyKey function and the profiles function are two different things. Profiles setup things like the seat, menus, presets, etc. MyKey allows for establishing non-administrative users ie teenagers, with speed limits, volume limits, etc.

You have to disable CarPlay to use the Ford+Alexa capability. It seems to me like a no-brainer that Amazon should update their iphone app to have a carplay interface. Unfortunately, I think they are more interested in selling echo devices for people's cars than making their iphone app useful.
