Are you saying $219 pm in total for both cars? I replaced my 2018 VW Golf with the Lightning. Was paying ~$1500 for 3 vehicles for 6 months. Total premium for 6 months went up by $30. So roughly $85 per month per car thru Costco. I have the same coverage limits as you with a $1k deductible.
NWFL, None. Seen quite a few Teslas, couple of ID4s, Kia and Hyundai but not many. The electricians who installed my charger said they were doing 4-5 installs per week. Supercharger network in this region is horrible. My truck is for local running only...will keep my ICE car for longer trips
So I took my first long, well "longish" trip with the truck. 70 Miles round trip (Navarre, FL to Pensacola, FL and back). About 90% interstate. Temperature was around 70F with light intermittent rain and gusty winds. On the interstate I averaged 75 - 85 mph. 30ish mph on local roads
Here are my...
I installed an Emporia 48A charger outside. I'm not concerned about someone using the charger but it is set up to not run overnight since I have solar and have it configured to maximize use of solar energy produced. I work from home so daytime charging is just fine for me. I do have a motion...
I have a leadfoot. My 2022 Lariat SR shows only 221 miles of range when charged to 100% Should I be anxious about a 120 mile trip (in Florida) where I'll probably do 80-85mph? I will recharge at my destination before heading back.
LOL, I do like the idea of giving them the finger...but it's done. Lucky you to have gotten a great deal. I hope you are not alone. At the end of the day, based on the prices I've seen, I don't think I got the worst deal in the world...and boy do I love that truck! It's my very first pickup, and...
Where I live, there aren't too many dealers. The Pensacola dealership had their first Platinum Lightning listed at $196k (used so as to not fall foul of Ford's rules) Based on what I've seen out there, all dealers are marking up over MSRP. I'd love to know if anyone on this forum was able to...
Well, this is the 2023 XLT with the new pricing. I got the 2022 SR Lariat from the same dealer for $77k. I looked around...did not see one cheaper, except used but even then, not less than $73k.
2023 Base price $63,474, ER $12,500, 312A $5,000, Paint, Bedliner, box cover, etc brings options to $21,365, Delivery fee $1,895, Dealer markup $8,673 (10%) for a total of $95,404.
I ordered a 2023 XLT ER at around $96K. The dealer offered me their 2022 Lariat SR mannequin with 740 miles for $76K. I really wanted the ER in red but for $20k less and qualifying for the EV tax credit, it just makes a lot more sense. Not sure how to update the order list.
