Your understanding is correct though unless you are regularly hauling heavy loads or approaching max tongue weight I doubt it will be an issue - it hasn’t been for me. 2” doesn’t sound like a lot but when you factor in that that’s still roughly two thirds of what was there before the drop, it...
There is no change in ride quality because the spring and damping rates are not changed. Raising the front does not appeal to me so I didn’t even consider it. I will say bed access is much easier with this rear drop.
Hey Nate

I’ll take a look at my rear suspension as it sits unladen and...
Whenever the toe is adjusted, especially on the front, it’s necessary to then calibrate the radar and the cameras or else things could get interesting. Performing these calibrations requires expensive equipment and specialized training of a competent tech that actually cares about doing the job...
I dropped my rear 1.5” using the rough country kit. I checked the alignment values after and the toe was able to be brought back into spec, the camber then measured -1.8 degrees and max neg spec from Ford was -1.5 degrees. I opted to not install the camber kit as I saw that trouble not worth the...
I just installed the kit today, but chose to only install the rear drop platforms and didn’t add the 3/4” spacers to the front. Overall a relatively painless way to lessen the dorky looking rake.
I’ve looked at this product but there aren’t any instructions - these replace the lower spring platform on the rear shocks? They just slip on, or cut/weld?
