If you just go to Ford's website, log into your account, go to reservations and orders, and click the Lightning and then you can see the date it was reserved and the reservation number. Big difference between ordering and reserving. Order banks aren't technically open for consumers yet. Just...
Buying an airline ticket doesn’t guarantee a seat, you sign a contract of carriage which I’m sure no one reads. Just like no one read the terms and conditions when they reserved a Lightning. I never paid to jump line, nor will I pay any markup. That’s ridiculous.
No I didn’t pay anything, it was because I had notified them how the process works early. That’s how I got bumped up. Never agreed to any ADM either.
From the documents provided, one who is prioritized should theoretically overtake those who ordered early. I ordered in late November for example. However, I was pushed from the last spot at my dealer, spot 40, to spot 4. Therefore, I should be ahead of the other guys who are not prioritized...
Not sure what all the back and forth is about. We know how the priority process works and it's already set (ie, Dec 17th cutoff). As far as waves, subject to change. Just wait till you guys are requested to order and when the banks open. Anything else is just speculation at this point.
Yeah I'm deciding on Stone Gray or Agate Black. It looks great in person, been seeing a few here and there for the past year or 2. Kinda a Bronzy, Light Brown Gray is the best way to describe it.
Yes, they have. I can now go out and purchase one no problem. There are about 200 2 and 4 Door Bronco's in my area, of which about 25% are at MSRP. A month or two ago, there were like 10 in my area total. Been plenty of articles on the Bronco's being pushed out recently.
Yeah you're right, but the majority are F-150's. Yes it's a new platform but production will ramp up drastically. The Lightning is the latest electric to be unveiled, yet it will most likely be the first to market.
I just ordered mine tonight. I find it extremely hard to believe all the normal customer orders won't be fulfilled by the end of 2023. Ford has been producing over 900,000 F-150's alone per year. The fact they're going electric in the coming years solidifies that reasoning. I get battery, chip...
