FFS this is what I think may make me sell my truck I'm going to get tomorrow. I did not realize my $55k XLT didn't have that as standard until like a month ago. I'm in the NE so heated seats are almost considered a must.
The solar/PV argument goes away in 2023 when battery backup installations themselves qualify for the new credits (I believe back to 30%) without needing to be attached to a PV array.
I will not try to keep my hopes up overall as this product still sounds a little too good to be true. The big question I would still have (other than if what you are saying here is accurate) is will it be able to integrate with home battery systems (including DIY) with PV.
