I did get it, however to install at my home would require a service upgrade and main panel replace and I’m not interested in that kind of investment in the current house.
Well it got me - 1/4 of the bar isn’t lighting up. Guess I have to wait for parts before scheduling anything - and I'm not sure how my local dealership will handle it. A few months ago they were telling me I'd have to leave the truck with them to even get on a list...
I got pulled over Sunday for no license plate so immediately ordered this.
Just installed it today. Installed with bolt downward, but smaller plate on top, and held the bolt head with some needle noses and used a ratchet on the bottom nut. Seems good enough.
Will report back if parking sensors...
I have a slow charger at home, just a standard outlet. Usually I charge every night and it gets back whatever I use on my commute.
We just did a trip, though, and I’m holding around 35% and I’m not sure if that’s ok so I’m going to go find a faster charger today and fill up.
Nice - I'll probably get an adapter. For some reason I thought there was a fire/safety issue with trying to use the Ford Mobile on the TT-30... I will probably get a full charge, then drive 90 miles to the site, so I shouldn't need a 50amp except for peace of mind.
yep, plan to be there for two nights
Will I need a whole new charger or just an adapter to the ford mobile charger?
they had 50 amp spots but i didn’t want to be surrounded by RVs
Looking for recommendations on state parks or camping spots in general that offer 30 or 50a hookups.
Was looking at Garner but it’s full up, sadly.
So where have you been Site recommendations? Time of year?
Nice! I got updated to 4.2.1 a few days ago - I haven't taken it to a dealer, just tried to be patient and forget about it. Personally I can't wait till I get the UI update for the improved AC controls.
Use PlugShare to check status, or post status. Personally I’ve had Ok experiences at EVGo and EA but neither were “great”. No problems receiving 120-140kwh tho.
Are you sure it’s not the setting to adjust speed to posted signs? I found it was incorrectly slowing at times so I disabled that, now acts more like regular cruise control.
Coming from a Honda, which had Lane Keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control, I agree - this is table stakes.
Will I at least get to keep these features _without_ Blue Cruise? Because I'm not paying $800/yr and if it doesn't have those features, that would be a big miss by Ford, IMO.
at one of my common destinations they have a 10-30 dryer outlet. Im a bit concerned about burning up the outlet if I just use an adapter as I’ve read the mobile charger will pull over 30 amps. Have you considered that or is that not a concern?
So this is my reality too, do you happen to have links to what you purchased? Also what do you plug in to what? Splitvolt to 10-30, then? Or does the extension cord go straight from the wall to the charger to the truck? And do you use the mobile charger at all in these situations?
It also seems like it used to chunk up my driving into smaller trips, such as when I turn the truck off at my first stop (after about 5 miles). But now it looks like it just contains the entire commute in a single log/trip time.
Since yesterday I noticed an additional trip and distance being shown on my driving log. I definitely did the 9.3 yesterday morning but not the 16. The evening drive was definitely not 31 miles.
Has anyone else seen this? I think there was an update recently so maybe there’s a bug.
