Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll look up the wiring diagram and try to splice into the brake light wiring directly. This is an insert for the hitch that turns red with the brake is applied. It would make for a much neater install look too.

Update. My salesperson texted me today saying my truck has been unloaded in Jacksonvill, FL this morning at 11:15. He said next step is to put it on a transport truck for them. BUT warned that they’ve seen it take weeks but hope it won’t take that long for my truck. Fingers majorly crossed!
