  1. Safety Program: 25S18 aka 25V131: HV Battery Electrode Misalignment Discussion

It is amazing how slow Ford is to move on this. Originally they were supposed to contact dealers with the fix in Mid March. Then they were going to send out recall notices to customers at the end of March. They haven't identified the fix yet...seem like it should be pretty simple, either...
  2. Unlock on FordPass down???

Can you pop the frunk with the bluetooth controls?
  3. Unlock on FordPass down???

I had the same issue yesterday. Fortunately I have the keypad. I thought it was just another bug in my truck. I just had the window door module over the air update. Maybe I will try disconnecting the 12 volt to see if that fixes it.
  4. V2H possible with other equipment?

The Ford Home Integration System doesn't work everytime for everyone. I have the system and it has not worked in over two years. Ford says there is a known issue and they are working on a software solution. Check out the other posts on the forum. I would strongly recommend that you use a...
  5. Platinum SEATS- cleaning?

No. ...but don't use it on the floor mats or brake pedal.
  6. Platinum SEATS- cleaning?

I use Lemon pledge on a micro fiber. I don't like the orange pledge.
  7. All my issues with this truck

The list of problems with my Lightning is long. Bad high voltage battery module. Low voltage battery module. Home Integration system not working. Phone as a Key working and then not working. Rear Light bar fogging. Now it has the mis-aligned electrode, as a added convenience is to only...
  8. FCSP Software Version 2.112.125:3.15:3.15:3.15:3.15

I can also confirm that mine has also been updated within the last week or so. I was told by Ford on about the 20th of February that mine was up to date when they checked. So this is a new development.
  9. Safety Program: 25S18 aka 25V131: HV Battery Electrode Misalignment Discussion

That is the blend day on the truck I ordered, not the one I have. My blend day is 6/16/2022...should have kept the Lariat. Apologize for the confusion...didn't think about updating.
  10. Safety Program: 25S18 aka 25V131: HV Battery Electrode Misalignment Discussion

I'm a winner. Guess I better park further away from the house. I first learned about it today by CarFax email. I checked . https://www.ford.com/support/recalls/ to see if it was real, it was. But on the plus side I did get a notification from Ford that my phone as a key for Android is...
  11. Teach my 2024 ER Lightning That There is a FCSP at Home

You will get used to it. I have. Now I just use it to scare my wife when we are driving home.
  12. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

Call Ford. They can look at the charger fault. Not saying they will give you an answer, but its the only way I know to get information.

  14. Off Roading/Trails

The only issue I have with the truck offroad is the turning radius, and that it does need the 2inch lift.
  15. Parking brake fail? Wet, not icy surface

Well. First I put the truck in Park. 2nd, I look at the instrument cluster and verify if the truck has the parking brake symbol is displayed. This step is affected by slope. If the truck is level it doesn't come on/if I'm parked on a slope it usually engages. If I want the emergency brake...
  16. Parking brake fail? Wet, not icy surface

So I know that I am part of hijacking the original thread, but, today I have had a hell of a time getting my emergency brake to come on. In two years I have never had an issue. The automatic brake set hasn't been turning on when I am on a slope. So, I have tried setting it with the switch...
  17. Parking brake fail? Wet, not icy surface

I have a drag system, but my Father in law was worried about the wheels on the garbage can wearing out....can't make this stuff up.
  18. Parking brake fail? Wet, not icy surface

So I used a 2inch ball mount. The top goes into the recess at the top of the can. The block with the lip catches the rod on the can. The bottom block centers the bottom of the can. I've been meaning to do some improvements but this one has worked fine for 5 years.
  19. Parking brake fail? Wet, not icy surface

We had snow in the Northwest just last week. I parked the truck on a incline with snow. The truck slid down the driveway, about 4 feet until the snow formed a wheel chock. I attached a couple of pictures that I took. I was doing a trash run for the inlaws. Would not have believed it if i...
