  2. Stolen Spare Tire - Two Questions

Many thanks. I just ordered one with points. $79 & $15 if the dealer installs it (also with points for the payment). The website advertises a -15% discount (code REDEEM924) through 9/39/2024 up to $1,000 purchase but it did not work in this instance.
  3. How to navigate to Tesla Chargers?

One of the easiest ways to find Tesla chargers is the Tesla app. Roll down to the bottom then go right to add your truck as a non-Tesla. You can find Tesla chargers on the app. At the very beginning of the app is Charge Your EV. Find a charger. My app always seems to start at West Africa for...
  4. A2Z Typhoon Pro NACS Adapter now available to order with forum discount code "FORD"

Yes, you are lucky they are doing the ā€œright thing.ā€ No one wants to order something and find out there’s a newer version.
  5. A2Z Typhoon Pro NACS Adapter now available to order with forum discount code "FORD"

If you bought the first model before June, you can get the Pro with a 25% discount. Use ā€œTYPROOLD.ā€ If you bought one since June, there’s, as I recall, a 40% discount. Check their website for the rules and code. My Tesla/Ford adapter, promised in June, hasn’t arrived and it is July. I bought the...
  6. Phone As A Key (PAAK) on Lariat SR?

I spoke to several people at Ford and was told no. It is the package, which makes no sense. Apparently it would show you could in Ford Pass. I’d still try, if I were you.
  7. Copilot knows the free adapter delivery dates

Next you’ll be telling me there is no Easter Bunny. Who brings me those Peeps? Santa? ?
  8. Copilot knows the free adapter delivery dates

I was somewhat early ordering my adapter but never knew my order number or expected delivery date. I called the Lightning desk at Ford, and suffered through a robot ā€œreceptionist.ā€ The woman I talked to found my order number, 6400, but could not tell me the expected delivery date. Microsoft...
  9. Lectron adaptor fails, drains 12v ?

As for me, I bought the extended warranty from Ford. Monthly payment is $125 or so. Many non-Ford warranty companies won’t write extended warranties on Lightnings (or any EVs). I don’t have the terms of Ford’s, but I bought the Big Maggilla. Essentially, an extension of the factory warranty...
  10. My First Tesla Charge Using A2ZEV NACS Adapter

I have that cord and I’m going to use it for destination charges. It is too small and long for superchargers. A2Z has announced a supercharger extension cord. It will be $300. You can get on a notification list when it comes out.
  11. Using the Ford Fast Charging Adapter at Tesla Supercharger: Munro Live

To use the Tesla Smart Dock, I had to subscribe to Tesla’s charging @ $12.99/mo. Probably ditto if the software update isn’t sent.
  12. Jumping

Most excellent. I just bought one.
  13. Is there still no way to leave climate control running?

It doesn't always work, but I have had pretty good luck by having a Pro/Power device being plugged in. In my case, a jump-start unit. As I understand it, if you have something using the truck's AC power, ProPower will keep the truck from going to "sleep."
  14. Best way to drive on the expressway for maximum battery life?

I just finished a white-knuckle trip in my ā€˜23 Lariat. Max tow package, SR battery. 1,375 miles or so. Amazing how few charging stations there are. I plan to do a YouTube video on it. Did I mention I was pulling a travel trailer and the truck bed was full? I tried to keep it about 55 mph...
  15. Possible to add Phone As A Key to lower trims?

If it were ME I wouldn’t hide the fob in the truck. You might as well put a sign in the window that says, Steal Me. If some thief gets into the truck, either by stealth or breaking a window, he doesn’t have to walk home—he just drives your truck.
