Many thanks. I just ordered one with points. $79 & $15 if the dealer installs it (also with points for the payment). The website advertises a -15% discount (code REDEEM924) through 9/39/2024 up to $1,000 purchase but it did not work in this instance.
One of the easiest ways to find Tesla chargers is the Tesla app. Roll down to the bottom then go right to add your truck as a non-Tesla. You can find Tesla chargers on the app. At the very beginning of the app is Charge Your EV. Find a charger. My app always seems to start at West Africa for...
If you bought the first model before June, you can get the Pro with a 25% discount. Use āTYPROOLD.ā If you bought one since June, thereās, as I recall, a 40% discount. Check their website for the rules and code. My Tesla/Ford adapter, promised in June, hasnāt arrived and it is July. I bought the...
I spoke to several people at Ford and was told no. It is the package, which makes no sense. Apparently it would show you could in Ford Pass. Iād still try, if I were you.
I was somewhat early ordering my adapter but never knew my order number or expected delivery date.
I called the Lightning desk at Ford, and suffered through a robot āreceptionist.ā The woman I talked to found my order number, 6400, but could not tell me the expected delivery date.

As for me, I bought the extended warranty from Ford. Monthly payment is $125 or so. Many non-Ford warranty companies wonāt write extended warranties on Lightnings (or any EVs). I donāt have the terms of Fordās, but I bought the Big Maggilla. Essentially, an extension of the factory warranty...
I have that cord and Iām going to use it for destination charges. It is too small and long for superchargers. A2Z has announced a supercharger extension cord. It will be $300. You can get on a notification list when it comes out.
It doesn't always work, but I have had pretty good luck by having a Pro/Power device being plugged in. In my case, a jump-start unit. As I understand it, if you have something using the truck's AC power, ProPower will keep the truck from going to "sleep."
I just finished a white-knuckle trip in my ā23 Lariat. Max tow package, SR battery. 1,375 miles or so. Amazing how few charging stations there are. I plan to do a YouTube video on it. Did I mention I was pulling a travel trailer and the truck bed was full?
I tried to keep it about 55 mph...
If it were ME I wouldnāt hide the fob in the truck. You might as well put a sign in the window that says, Steal Me.
If some thief gets into the truck, either by stealth or breaking a window, he doesnāt have to walk homeāhe just drives your truck.
