  1. Ultimate Guide to the Changes on the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning

The initial batches of '25 Flash trim trucks should have the same 131kWh battery, appears the smaller one is a later release. The window sticker will likely show 300mi range for those.
  2. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

They must've recycled the reservation lotto machine to be the BC1.4 machine.
  3. 2024 Platinum replaced 2023 Lariat 1st impression

It was just a fake port to match the driver's side, they got rid of that for 2024.
  4. 🙋‍♂️ What Did You Do To Your Lightning Today?

I almost replaced my XLT with a Platinum....jury is still out, probably not the smartest idea, though. Maybe if the Carvana number was a little higher.
  5. 2024 Platinum replaced 2023 Lariat 1st impression

I was hoping to find a Lariat with the only two options being Max Tow + Pro Power OnBoard so it qualifies for the tax credit by ~$50...but no one has it around the 500 mile radius on Ford's website. Then when using the Lariats in stock I found it was cheaper to get a Platinum somehow due to the...
  6. Best Ford dealers for Service in SE Pennsylvania?

I bought mine from, and take it to Garnet Ford in Concordville/West Chester. It's only needed to go a couple times but they've never done me wrong.
  7. 2024 Platinum replaced 2023 Lariat 1st impression

If my truck had any sort of equity I'd make the jump to a '24 Plat, found an AntiMatter Blue down in Maryland but I just can't bring myself to basically restart the process all over again. The numbers after X-Plan incentives/pricing was tempting, though. Unfortunately I'd have to sell the...
  8. Your Username - why & what does it mean?

Had a few 3rdgen Camaros and Firebirds when I was 16/17 and was a fan of them.
  9. Vehicle availability vs what the Ford website says?

I've been shopping for a Lariat that has Max Tow + 9.6kW Pro Power...the math says it'll clear the tax credit threshold by ~$50 and the only one I found managed to have "Dealer Installed Addons" on the window sticker adding to the cost...and then didn't want to sell to someone out of their region :(
  10. Is 18.1K off MSRP a good deal for a 2024 Platinum?

Ahhh dang. Was wondering why the Platinum got a random $9500 off, that makes sense though since I think once you hit the "Checkout" button it vanishes.
  11. Is 18.1K off MSRP a good deal for a 2024 Platinum?

Wow. I looked it up last night and saw that with X-Plan you can snag a Plat for what I paid for my base model XLT. ?
  12. Second opinion on spray on bed liner from factory

Bedliner is covered under the 3yr/36k right? I'd just go to any Ford dealer. Doesn't appear to be a "tough bed" if it's peeling up at the edges.
  13. 3,800 mile winter trip, new learnings

Did some damage on my mid-back on a fall while skiing 10 or so years ago that still crops up to this day, basically faceplanted and the spine went the wrong way. Hopefully the recovery is quick!
  14. CSP 24B56 - Inoperative Front Parking Sensor(s) - IPMA Software Update for Certain 2022-24 F-150 Lightning Trucks

I've been getting the errors popping up the past few days, is the 360 cam screen an issue with the 12" display or just those '22 owners with the 4a?
  15. Curious why some do not use 1 pedal driving.

I tried 1PD when I had my Bolt and found it to be less efficient with my driving style, and that carries over in the F150 on my commutes which is mostly highway. I feel I can coast when needed and regen that power where I wouldn't have been able to do so in 1PD.
  16. $69 EV Registration Fee. Increases are annoying. What about your state?

I wont have to actually re-do the inspection/registration on mine until 2029, but I'm hoping DE will overlook these fees.
  17. Using your EVSE/charger to power a garage shop heater

When we were watching his video on the christmas lights my fiance screamed from the couch "FINALLY SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS MY COMPLAINTS!" and bought like 4 boxes of them....which will be here in the summer some time. I enjoy the in-depth explinations he puts out.
  18. Lightning Charging in Maine

Might have to take you up on that as long as I can get up there this summer; I've been cheating using the oven outlet, need to twist the arms of my elder family members to upgrade the service to the house....well, "house" being used loosely, considering it was built in the 30s. I used the DC...
  19. Lightning Charging in Maine

I used only Tesla on the trip to Sebec Lake this past August/September. Looks like my stops were at the Falmouth and Waterville on the way north, and then Wells on the way south. There is what appears to be a brand new 8 stall lot behind a Starbucks in Bangor that I used on the way from...
