A couple of things, first, brake pads are very inexpensive, secondly, I believe you have that backwards (ceramic brakes vs semi-metallic.) Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that we barely have to use the physical brakes too decelerate. It's just that going ev to eliminate brake dust sounds...
The air is a bit more humid in S Florida. 80 mph is 1.5mi/kw. Lucky to get 2.0 mi/kw @70
At 40-45 mph with no stoplights- over 3.0 mi/kw.
At any rate- the range is based on previous behavior. The OP averaged roughly 1.9kw/hr per mile. That's about right for a mix of 80mph and 40mph.
Virtually everything I thought was important about EV ownership turned out to be completely unimportant once I owned one. I remember stressing about the infrastructure of charging stations more than anything, as well as time to charge on the road. Fast forward over a year and a half later, for...
One other thing that has been touched on numerous times, but no one has said it out right, if you plan on keeping this as long as it sounds like you do, you want to keep your battery between 80% and 20%.
So even though you have a "240 mile range'" realistically, you're only dipping into 60% of...
Love that. I have a roll up with bike rack. I didn't realize you could get the rack on without the rails that are part of the roll up. I miss the space the roll-up cartridge needs.
Just my opinion, but I would urge you to stay away from the HIS. From what I've read, HIS integration is rarely ideal, very expensive, and works intermittently.
Do you have the 15" or 12" screen?
thanks again
EDIT:
I have no such option on my 12". Just a slider to set when it shuts the outlets off at a miles to empty setting. The outlets are only energized with my truck "on"
Kind of a bummer. The routine of shutting down...
im not sure exactly how you're able to to energize the bed outlets with the truck off. Ignore the load minimum for now please.
How are you energizing the bed outlets without having the truck "on?"
Like the OP, I would like to run PPO and not have the dash on.
Thanks
I didn't read through all of it, so apologies.
In addition to dog mode, how about camping mode?
Or at least make the interior dashboard dimmable when in generator mode.
As soon as you turn the headlights off, the dashboard backlight is no longer dimmable on my pro. Sure, I can turn the 12 inch...
That's what I call a management decision...
You're management.
My .02 cents, replace it. I'd be very disappointed if it went out out of warranty and then failed.
Exactly. Their biggest complaint is charging.
which makes ZERO sense. Anyone who owns an ev wakes up every day with a full tank of electrons.
Only reason stop at a gas station is to use the restroom.
This concept is completely foreign to them, as not having to fill up is incomprehensible to...
