"So he took a dremel grinding tool to a slight rise of the front of the inside latching part of the NACS disconnect button that seemed to fix the problem" I did that and it also seemed to resolve the problem for me, but I still keep the clamp handy just in case.

Lots of info on this on other posts. For me, grinding down the catch with a dremel tool worked best, but I still keep my clamp, just in case.

I doubt that is the issue. Both mine stuck after only a brief charge to test the unit. Haven’t yet tried it since leaving the clamp on, but at least I feel I can get it off with the clamp. Again, maybe stronger hands would help

How do you get the AC to stay on. Mine seems to shut off after a while, even if I don’t turn it off.

Received my replacement Lectron. Still very hard to release the Tesla cable but better. Had to use a clamp, but at age 86, I don’t have great hand strength. Hopefully it will loosen. Better than nothing!

#7196. - me either. Did receive replacement Lectron but haven't tried it yet. !st one had to return because of the disconnect switch stuck to the point where it was almost impossible;e to disconnect

You may have just been one of the few that got one that didn’t stick. My replacement is due today. Hopefully it will work better

Still no replacement sent for my defective Lectron adapter in spite of their indication that a new one would be sent out. Quite disappointing. I was hoping Lectron would step up to the plate. Now regretting I didn't go with A2Z

Received reply from Lectron with return shipping label. Will return it in the AM hoping for a quick replacement. Other than the latch release, it is sturdy and seems to work well. Keeping my fingers crossed after waiting so long.

I ordered a Lectron on April 26. It’s due to be delivered Friday. I believe they resolved the locking problem.
