  1. New Charge Assist App Function / Feature is Out!

So how did they populate this one? I'd ask if it was buried in another release, but I happen to know @LUXMAN has not had a SW release on his Pro since June, and many other Pro owners report the same. So there is valid truck communication and updates for them of sorts behind the scenes.
  2. New Charge Assist App Function / Feature is Out!

Interesting, seems to be half way speedy. Are they really pulling live up to the minute data to populate with? Interesting that it isn't part of navigation, but I guess small steps. Truly may be best that way because I won't use the built in navigation anyway with CarPlay available.
  3. Priority Update: 23-PU0724-DOM-RS

I checked - no SW for me. I'll probably go for another drive this evening, it'll likely download when I disconnect from Wifi.
  4. Priority Update: 23-PU0724-DOM-RS

Cool. Hoping I’ll see it soon. I know Ford just jumped the gun yesterday sending me the survey about my feedback. I know of at least one other person got the email yesterday. This release has been out for a week for the ICE trucks. The surveys come from the EAP team even though these...
  5. Charge Assist - overhyped or does it work?

I would have to say what is the point if it isn't built into Navigation. I'll learn more as we go I guess.
  6. Charge Assist - overhyped or does it work?

So do you enter payment information in the truck or in your app? I think what I heard was it will show all the available chargers, how many stations are working, how many are free, and you pull up and plug in to charge. Does the payment work well without having to do anything at the station...
  7. Charge Assist - overhyped or does it work?

Seems the word is out on this today. First I've heard of it, I've not had it to test. What can you tell us about it? Does it work? Seems Farley had it on his drive a few weeks back.
  8. Farley & Ford Execs Traveling the American West in F-150 Lightning

I'll believe it when I see it from what FB has described it is supposed to do. I just logged on for the first time today, I guess they lifted the NDA? Maybe we need a thread to hear the feedback from those of you that have been testing it.
  9. Tesla Supercharger network now up to 66 locations with Magic Dock (4/17/24)

Thank you for that, good clarification. These are not Superchargers, but the new WC with the dock built in. Nice upgrades to say the least. These units are just a little over $500 each. I figure we will see a ton of the hotel and public sites like this upgraded very quickly. There...
  10. CSP-23B57 for High Voltage Battery Notice

To some degree I wouldn't disagree with this, but we do have a member that had no indication he had a problem until he did the SW update last week. It immediately identified the issue. So the current SW is lacking some checking of sorts. The release said you could have the dealer do it...
  11. Tesla Supercharger network now up to 66 locations with Magic Dock (4/17/24)

This is interesting as I thought all Magic Dock's were at new stations so far. Maybe some have been retrofits. Where did you find the Magic Dock was slated for the charger? I'm aware of supercharge.info, but didn't think they had that detailed information about future stations or upgrades.

  13. Tesla Supercharger network now up to 66 locations with Magic Dock (4/17/24)

It's hard to understand the method to the madness. One wouldn't think it would add a lot of cost considering the overall cost to add a station. A renovated and added to station in Southern OK could have used them too, but nope. New pedestals ust opened about a month ago.
  14. CSP-23B57 for High Voltage Battery Notice

Did you buy used or find a '22 still on a lot (maybe a mannequin)? You likely need the wiper motor replaced and a brand new campaign came out this week to replace the rubber mat on the dash to prevent spills from leaking down into electronics. Check your Ford account online, these should...
  15. CSP-23B57 for High Voltage Battery Notice

Dang - sorry to see that, but at least this identified the issue as it seems is designed to do. Mind sharing what part of DFW or which dealer you are working with? I bought at Bob Tomes in McKinney, but live much closer to 5 Star on 190. @LUXMAN has had really good support from Utter in...
  16. Priority Update: 23-PU0110-RAD-PS

I had the update waiting when I got in the truck today. Once I got back home, I told it to install and as usual, it failed twice. Then I made about a 10 mile drive this evening to dinner, told it to install again and it did. So it took 3 times (likely a battery charge cycle) and then...
  17. Stop Driving Immediately: high voltage battery and power train warning

I think this repair is all about does the dealer have the equipment, does the dealer have someone trained? I'd just make a coupe of quick calls. Thinking the big dealer may have more skills, but may have a back log and how long will it take to work you in?
  18. Aftermarket clear bezel for Light bar?

I think the milky white is a miss too. So many other options and lighting has become such a big thing to differentiate brands and models. I like the strip across, but LED's can be so small and almost hidden these days. I thought there would have been some replacement options by now, but...
  19. CSP-23B57 for High Voltage Battery Notice

It's way down on the next to the last page of the document. The total document is 7 or 8 pages. "Less than 4% of the affected vehicle population is expected to require one or more high voltage battery modules needing to be replaced."
