Just to let you guys peak at the future.... I've owned Teslas since 2013 and the number of different variations on a model S produced is substantial. A P85 is very different from S60 or a 2017 MS. Updates always seem to be on the other models, variants. Impossible to know if you are on the...
Wonder if this update is model specific. My 2022 Lariat got it but I noticed the last three above that did not get it were Pro models. Had not gotten an update since July.
Our Plaid is a 2021. Still noisy and worse the more the tires get worn. I didnāt bite on a CT reservation for a long time. Just couldnāt get past the looks. Over time I decided to get in line but the lack of specs and details really has me wondering. If it just has one outlet in bed and nothing...
Ok I've been driving Tesla Model S's since 2012 (175k miles) and my 2022 Lightning for about 5 months (7k miles). Been loving the truck. I take it most everywhere and actually have to remember to occassionally drive the old Tesla Plaid. Getting to understand Ford stuff is coming along but my...
That's ridiculous. Something they could do while you wait.
Is the build date the one on the drivers pillar? Mine says 09/22 and I assume I've covered. I previously owned a car with multiple dates printed on stickers. One on the drivers sill and another on the pillar.
I just daily charge to 80%. My point was that it defaults to 100% by design. You can certainly change it each time you charge (thank god). I initially had problems getting the regular daily charge set to anything below 100% so I used this quite a bit.
Iāve had this on my 2022 also. Thought it was just my imagination! I did cycle the lights to get it to go off and assumed I had somehow hit the light switch with my knee.
I really believe this is exactly what Ford intended for that setting. The only time I would ever set it for 100% is in this situation. Long trip to ensure I have enough to get to the next station. I never need 100% for my daily driving.
Wow suprised at this from the dealer. Incompetent or crooks? Either is just as bad. More importantly I would have assumed it was a dealer only thing.
Thanks for the info!
Looks like it's integrated into its rear left wheel arch outside of the bed. Not sure what you were getting at about that location. I think it was the post before that said something about good luck charging with something in the bed. I didn't think the charger was anywhere in the bed.

There are very few liquid cooled chargers and we're years away from getting them for the general Tesla population much less other makes. There is no plan to retrofit or replace the thousands of superchargers to liquid cooled. Could Tesla retrofit longer cables, yes but I doubt it. They'd have to...
Gotta believe the supercharge adaptor will have a long extension cable to get us close enough to charge. Shortly after purchase I took my Lightning to a supercharger and there is no way we can make any simple clip on block adapter work. Some type of connector with a cable will be required...
It would be nice to get together with other owners to check out their experiences and what they've figured out. I've seen groups get discounts on parts, even tech session presentations.
Send me a message and if we get enough folks interested we can approach a dealership about some type of...
Had a flat and needed to get it replaced at Telsa (cheapest price). Of course I delivered the wheel to them with my Lightning.
I pointed at the Model X frunk in the show room and said "that's not a real frunk" I opened my frunk up and said now that's a frunk! They all smiled and agreed.
I hate having to look back to verify the truck is locked. Side mirrors folding up. I did find that if I hit the fob lock button twice it honks to let me know itās locking.
Thanks for responding. I'm curious what you think the 2.1mi/kWh means. It's an average rate of consumption not an absolute number used. When you go faster it falls. When you go slower it goes up. You're using an average rate to ...
You know, we'll just have to disagree. I don't feel I should...
