"I'd like to see something like having to enter a preset code or something to start the vehicle and a way to disable the keyless entry ( not just the key pad )", this wouldn't require 2FA (in the true sense) and the easiest way to implement this is when you get in close proximity to the truck...
Agreed! Where would Two-Factor Authentication be used? To start the truck, make changes to the settings? With the way the trucks are setup the best you would get is key FOB and a generated code sent to your phone or Ford would have to add a scanner for Facial Recognition/Thumb Print scan...
I'm thinking this could be related to the J2534 protocol and how FDRS handles it and not the adapters. I keep getting different results after each scan. Check out the message I just sent everyone and any thoughts would be nice.
I would check the AsBuilt after the first scan then run another scan and check the AsBuilt again. I'm seeing differences so not sure where the issue is each time I scan. :(
Ok everyone, I have some great news about the Mongoose but, you'll have to wait until I complete my analysis. I have a conversation with @Jesse-Infotainment , @iceman77 & @tonesto7 that I need to converse with about my findings.
