Agreed! Where would Two-Factor Authentication be used? To start the truck, make changes to the settings? With the way the trucks are setup the best you would get is key FOB and a generated code sent to your phone or Ford would have to add a scanner for Facial Recognition/Thumb Print scan...

The 20 is a HEX value for a space so yes, this complicates it.

Would it matter? I say this because if it caches the data from the last time the truck was started/running, those values won't change regardless...

I may just buy one... getting frustrated that FDRS states it supports the J2534 Pass-Through Protocol and we see something different.

Maybe @kennelh can cache the data when the truck is off?

I just checked, the Mongoose picked up 37 modules which is 2 more than FORScan.

I'm thinking this could be related to the J2534 protocol and how FDRS handles it and not the adapters. I keep getting different results after each scan. Check out the message I just sent everyone and any thoughts would be nice.

Same with the update, just tried it exactly like you and same results.

I would check the AsBuilt after the first scan then run another scan and check the AsBuilt again. I'm seeing differences so not sure where the issue is each time I scan. :(
