I'm stuck on the GSM, tried over and over and it keeps coming back with no failures. I noticed the BlueCruise Prep Kit as well but wasn't sure if I should do it. Any ideas on what's up with the GSM and should I do the BC Prep?
I had the prior one 21146_PRODUCT Revision 145. Suggestion, make sure your GWM is updated first, then disconnect your battery for approx. 15mins and leave the memory stick in the USB slot. Reconnect battery and charger/maintainer and you should see the update start again with the popup about "Do...
Funny thing is, a very good friend of mine assumed my APIM was shot as well, his ass I busted since he's a Master Tech! I love sharing knowledge so he will reap what I learned. I'm not a bad guy at all and have a huge heart...
I would drive around for a few days and go back and see if they cleared. If your license expires use FORScan to see if they still exist. Fortunately I didn't have an IPMA or IPC update and I'm assuming that those modules had been updated with the chip shortage since my truck sat for 6 months in...
I told the service dept. on Thursday that despite them ordering a new APIM, I would get the module updated.... can't wait to see what they have to say. Gonna shove this down the tech's throat come Monday:
Wow, patience is a virtue. I will be updating the doc with a few other things since FDRS has been upgraded to 31.6.2. I'm happy things finally came into play, I was also able to get the APIM updated even with the Persistent U3000:41 DTC (checksum failure) which was an issue and I believe that it...
You're not alone with the 2.3.0 update, mine failed as well with a U3000:41 DTC indicating checksum failure. Trying to update now using FDRS and I'm stuck in a loop...
@iceman77 What is PMI-ing? Does PMI stand for Programming Module Interface and if so, does FDRS provide the instruction? I am not very happy with the service tech that worked on my truck...
This has been added to the doc. Also added, my friend that's a retired Ford Master Tech stated to use the 10amp setting on the charger/maintainer at a minimum.
