You will get a better ride with the Ford Performance level. The Ready Lift is a hockey puck lift which will keep the same shocks and struts as stock. Very similar ride to stock. The Ford lift is a replacement strut in the front and shock in the back. They have been valved and designed for a...
This is an awesome video showing the Ford Performance Lift with FOX Coilovers in the front and Fox 2.0 shocks in the back. The lift looks great and allows them to fit 305/55R20's with 20x9 -12mm Wheels. Much better than a hockey puck lift but you'll pay a lot more for it ($1495 from Ford plus...
I would guess iDataLink should have a Sync interface for the 2021 soon. Also could just use an AudioControl interface to tie in to the high level outputs from the radio. This company sells pre built harnesses that plug into the factory plugs behind the radio and come with an AudioControl...
Seeing as they do not call out a trim that's not compatible on their website, the fact they designed it on a Limited (See their SEMA truck in my profile pic) I would think that the adjusted geometry with the new knuckle and everything would not effect a stability sensor. Should be fine. I've see...
For sure, if you are heavily off-roading the more sidewall you can air down the better and I would be going with Beadlocks to make sure all that rubber stays on the rim.
Then you can raz my 35's that see dirt maybe one every other month lol... And yep, build date of 2/19 (Crosses Fingers) and maybe delivery date late March. Will bring pictures back with the 4" BDS lift, Fuel D610 Maverick 20x9 +1mm offset wheels on 35x12.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and possibly...
Generalizing a bit though, My Lariat Sport is coming with the stock 18's and I'm swapping them for 20's but putting them on 35's so sidewall/air down off road/etc... is as good or better than stock tires and 18's. Of course i'm putting on weight so payload goes down but that fine for me because...
I put $750 into my Explorer and it sounds amazing. Far better than any normal premium OEM sound system. I bought some Fosgate components for the front door, some Fosgate Coaxials for the back doors, a 10" low profile Pioneer sub box, and a nice 5 Channel Fosgate amp with an LC2 interface from...
This is good info especially the set back of the stock tires. Think you mixed up your -44 and +44 after the first line up there but otherwise this is solid info. I'm going to be adding a 4" BDS lift with 20x9 +1mm Fuel D610 Maverick Black & Milled wheels and 35x12.5R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers...
I usually recommend to people to test and tune to the type of music they listen to regularly as Pop, Classical, Rock, Rap, Country, and others all tune somewhat differently and each individual has their own wants and desires out of their music. But I will recommend this song from the Robin Hood...
I was definitely leaning towards the Retrax Pro MX, but after all the freezing up stories, I still am :). Not many days with freezing temperatures in San Diego so should be fine.
Just checking if anyone has measured the step height to the power deployable running boards. Got a 4x4 Lariat on order and trying to show the wife step in height between a 4" and 6" lift on 35's. If I knew the original height should be able to figure it out. Thanks.
You will definitely lose some MPG to the lift and larger tires. 24/24 will probably go down to 20/20 or so which is still really good for a 1/2 ton truck. But If I got the standard 3.5 or the Coyote V8, lifting it would cause the same MPG loss, we're just starting from a higher point.
Most people sell them on Craigslist or similar marketplace for about 50-75% of their cost to make back some of the money they spent on the new wheels/tires.
