included with that trim level.
I like stone gray as well. I have been looking at ICE versions in that color to help decide. Still kinda partial to the iconic silver on my Mach E though.
Iced blue silver is just a new catalog color that’s starting to show up on a few models, including regular F150s. When I was deciding on a color for my Mach E I used the Ford.com inventory tool to find other vehicles (usually Explorers since that’s where the bulk of the MME colors came from) in...
Model year timelines are really just arbitrary. The industry tends toward the "september-ish" changeover but there are many times when that is not the case. Good point about model year vs calendar year though.
well…the big battery is included in that big ol’ Platinum price tag. Not exactly free ;). I’m sure someone on the internet is railing about being FORCED to buy the big battery just to get Platinum equipment?
They announced it many weeks ago. The news today is when reservations will start.
There is also a brief “shock and awe” video floating around with the first mention i have seen of the GMC Sierra variant. The most interesting thing to me is the shown front end looks very similar to the current...
Both of the discontinued grays on the Mach E, Infinite Blue & Carbonized Gray, were shared with several vehicles. Most of original MME color palette was simply the Explorer choices anyway.
Yes, there are several networks but the apps and membership are free. It is good insurance to set up for any network you might encounter to avoid having to download an app and create an account when you could be charging. I know it sounds like a pain but It’s just not a big deal in practice. I...
An electric Maverick, or really a Ridgeline but that ain’t gonna happen, is what I really want. Not giving up my Lightning reservation though and looking forward to real cost info. The one thing out there that may change my mind is the GM reveal in early January. The 800v charging on the GM is a...
That has never been in doubt :).
The Chevys do offer heated seats in the base version. I had a Bolt prior to the Mach E. ;) Surprised if the Hyundai doesn’t since you can get them in most everything the company makes, but don’t see that info on their website. Of course that’s also a company...
I understand it's possibly more profit because that's the decades-old mindset I mentioned. But in this case it could cost actual sales and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the EV market. Most EVs I have owned/shopped include heated seats for all trim levels. Ford doesn't.?‍♂️
Iconic silver has been a great choice on my Mach E and draws more attention & compliments than I ever thought possible with an electric station wagon. Seems like the difference in the colors is Iconic has a distinct black flake and Iced Blue may replace this with blue. I'm going to need to see...
I think some of us date ourselves with our initial revulsion to vinyl. With the majority of cars today actually having fake leather the whole vinyl thing isn't really a negative as long as it's good quality material. The German marques have been predominantly vinyl for decades and their...
Don't lose all hope though, especially if you have a good relationship with a dealer or two. There are lots of Mach E owners who were on a call-back list or basically stumbled on to cars on dealer lots when the order holder walked away.
If it’s like the Mach E they will have to be EV certified dealers. I would think the truck would prompt more dealers to go on the program but I couldn’t get my Mach E from my first two dealer choices as they could not get the cars.
