All certified EV dealers are getting a demo. I think it was the same with Mach E but their production was mixed in with ordered units. We have been told they will be the first production units but I wonder if our ordered units will also be built during the same time like the Mach E.

Ok, so my dealerships demo/mannequin is scheduled for 4/11 production. I wonder if all dealer demo units will be produced prior to retail orders or if retail orders will be scheduled concurrently with the demos. I would love to get an April production date.

Sure... that is true if he maintains lease for the term. What happens when he is in an accident and totals the vehicle? He loses the 25K. It will not be recouped in the settlement. That is part of the problem with leases.

I am the purchaser. As already stated D-plan discount is 2.25% of MSRP less Destination and Delivery plus $275 fee plus a $100 doc fee.

It's actually 1400 dollars but that really was not my point. The invoice structure and dealer payment structure appears to be a huge win for the dealer at the cost of discounts across the board aand the loss of X-Plan completely.

As a dealer employee we are really getting hit hard on this invoice structure. For example, on a 2021 F150 with a $73105 MSRP my D-plan price would be $67330(about $5800 discount)This is in addition to any other rebates available. A $73000 Lightning will cost me around $71,600(assuming $1695...

Ford does offer Red Carpet Leasing for the Mach E.

He was 100% correct. The time and energy invested in this vehicle hopefully pays off for us(consumers). Ford does not need a repeat of recent new model release problems(2020 Explorer).

Thankfully most of this is incorrect. Modules are replaceable and can be balanced. Currently,with the Mach E battery , if a module shows an error they are most likely being replaced as an assembly. The batteries are then being shipped in for repairs. This has more to do with the engineers...
