  1. Vehicle height in the rear? Used truck, did prior owner lift the rear?

HOLY SHIT THEY REALLY RAISED THE REAR IN THAT THING!!! (Looks outside at own truck). Never mind, they all look like that.
  2. Lightning retakes EV pickup sales crown from Cybertruck (for both March and Q1 2025)

I mean, they kinda did when they dropped the non exclusive founders edition.
  3. Lightning retakes EV pickup sales crown from Cybertruck (for both March and Q1 2025)

If it’s really due to low inventory then sales will recover a bit. I don’t see the lightning blowing the cybertruck out of the water sales wise, I guess they’ll probably hover around the same levels going forward. I don’t see the ev truck market growing much with the current administration.
  4. Lightning retakes EV pickup sales crown from Cybertruck (for both March and Q1 2025)

Weren’t the lightning April sales pretty bad?
  5. Tesla Reportedly Has $800 Million Worth of Cybertrucks That Nobody Wants

I wouldn’t think this was an issue if they were selling at a decent clip, but with demand seemingly falling out, why keep building the things? And with the introduction of the RWD version, why keep building the versions clearly nobody is ordering?
  6. Using app to turn on/off Ford Level 2 Pro charging station

It should be smart enough to have that functionality but they didn’t implement it. Go Ford! That said, reducing the charge rate in the app to 6 amps will basically Make it a level 1 charger, which for our trucks is about 1% an hour. You can get that plugging into my outside outlets with your...
  7. PSA: Check under your door sill trim if you live in the rust belt!!

I don’t think it will stop liquid either. A couple dabs of silicone would probably do the job though.
  8. PSA: Check under your door sill trim if you live in the rust belt!!

Does your sill plate have a plastic piece that goes down to fill in most of that channel?
  9. Lightning vs Rivian - new truck buyer…

This isn’t a Tesla forum, or even really a Ford forum per se. you’ll get some pretty honest thoughts here and very little “the front fell off, but I still love the truck” type posting. that said, I went with a lightning because the bed was bigger and the most important to me, the front trunk...
  10. Rock vs windshield

I’ve used the rainX brand. With a razor blade those will disappear. You won’t see them. At all. Time is important though, so get on it.
  11. Congress proposes shocking new fee on EVs

As a centrist, I’d never make it past a primary in either party.
  12. Congress proposes shocking new fee on EVs

Exactly. “The market will decide the winners and losers.” Am I doing this right?
  13. Congress proposes shocking new fee on EVs

Almost no states have annual inspections, though some have emissions testing in certain areas.
  14. Test drive new to get an idea on used?

Honestly there are only deletions as time went forward. With the way the pandemic hit production, the Lariat 22-23 are probably the most “feature complete” versions out there as the Platinums had only the different seats, tires, and price bump. A new lariat will be pretty close to those with a...
  15. Performance mods for more power?

As others have mentioned, dropping weight is probably the most straightforward way to improve the performance. Cut the roof off above the seatbelt attachment points for starters. Spare tire has to go, motor shields have to go. Ditch the rear bumper and hitch. Frunk liner, gone. Pedestrian...
