Have a late reservation for the Avarado (or is it a Silveranch?), but it's unlikely I'll convert it. Probably should just cancel now and get my $100 back, but still hedging my bets in case my '22 Lariat takes a turn for the worse.
Stealerships are doing everything they can to continue their stealing
All this is going to do is hurt the legacy brands... possibly to the point of putting them out of business, at least in certain states.
$800/year when the system randomly (to me) cuts out while on a mapped highway and can't seem to handle sunset (and probably sunrise)... that's a seriously hard no. I use Spotify far more than I use (or can use) BlueCruise and it only costs me $10 a month, likewise my various TV subs. Ford seems...
That may explain the alarm trigger alert I got while my truck was parked at the airport, but nothing was amiss when I got back. My dashcam came unstuck from the windshield and might have swung enough to hit the rearview mirror.
I didn't take a pic, but I used the Lightning to run my battery charger/starter to get my 2003 BMW vert going after the winter because I was too lazy to get out an extension cord AND walk around to the outlet out front.
I was hoping to get ELKTRA (what I named the Lightning) on the throw-back blue/yellow plate here in Michigan, but it disappeared while I was waiting for my tags to officially transfer from my 2005 Silverado ... now I check in from time to time to see if something I want becomes available.
I must have gotten lucky... my GOM is still tracking to winter usage pretty well. This past weekend it was off a bit but with the first real cold of the season and those crazy winds it wasn't nearly as off as it could have been.
Oddly, though, it's been adding to the same "This Trip" since...
Found myself in the same position this morning. Snow packed into the hinge space that was very hard to remove in order to close the door. Not loving the available options on Amazon, either. For now, I backed the truck in so the charge door isn't facing west, but not sure how much difference that...
I'm in the same position. Took someone else's Lariat off the dealer's hands at the end of August. I'll probably just let the invite expire since I don't need a second truck and the price increases plus my losing the fed tax credit for 2023 makes the price astronomical in comparison.
