Are there multiple ways to trigger preconditioning?
Option 1) Plug in the truck and set a departure time
Is there another simple way to do this? Does 'remote start' while plugged in also work? I mainly ask because setting an adhoc departure time or adjusting an existing one is not simple due...
I took it to one tint shop and they were unable to do the job. They tried to use an external tinted wrap, but they said they were unable to get it to adhere to all the corners/bends. I still want to get this done, but I have to find another shop willing to try it. If anyone knows a place in NJ...
I am getting 2.2-2.7 mi/kW local driving (40mph average or lower). On the highway I am getting about 1.8 when going 75-85. About 2.0 if traveling at 60-65. These numbers seemed to match others with a stock setup according to another thread on this forum. So it’s hard to tell what the impact...
I brought my truck to a tint shop yesterday. I showed the inside evs article and explained the job. He attempted to use an exterior tinted vinyl wrap. After 2 hours he gave up and wouldn’t do the job. He said he couldn’t do it in a single piece and this would result in overlaps of material...
same for me. 2100 miles, average 2.1mi/kWh. I get around 2.4-2.7 locally and about 1.8 on highways going 75-85. ER platinum and the range is about 250 @ 100% SoC
this is not true. Mine charges at high 70 amps continually without heat problems. It is located outside. I measure the current using Sense monitoring on my panel. I have not had it over heat
It was just under 5k installed and includes mounting, balancing, alignment, any speed adjustments, and moving the TPMS from factory to the new wheels.
there was no leveling done on this. I wanted the size to stay as close to stock as possible. I asked the installer to use 20” (stock platinum...
Doesn’t seem to be any noticeable Difference yet but I haven’t done any long rides. The installer noted that this tire wheel combo weighs less than the stock, and I didn’t adjust height. So the only hit might be some aero but maybe less weight offsets that. There is more road noise as is to be...
Inspired by TC Customs build ( http://instagr.am/p/CezlZslt1tv/ ), I did a similar setup. (Mine has no level kit and wheels are stock size)
This is black rhino rapid wheels, 20”, in gunmetal finish
Nitto grappler tires 275 (285s should fit too)
work was done by detail doctor in shrewsbury nj...
Fwiw, sunrun installed a 100A breaker for me and my home service is 200A. The installers were really great guys, but the sunrun sales and project managers were complete trash, extremely hard to work with and they ghosted me. I had to escalate to even get a response. It’s a shame ford partnered...
I like the look of the Nitto Grappler tires w/ Black Rhino wheels, shown here ( ). I won't be doing a level kit tho, and will need to find a combination that fits on the stock height.
This issue has been fixed for me. Both driver and passenger seat are to plug into a seat control module. The dealer found that the wiring harnesses were not fully 'clicked' in and therefore had an intermittent connection. Once clicked into place, this went away
I have been using Tom's Ford in...
This seems to be an issue with the full flat recline / massaging seats. Both passenger and driver side are affected. The dealer and a ford rep have been very helpful in communicating with me on this. I’ll let the group know how it goes.
Thanks, after some playing around ive come to the same conclusion. I’ll have to return to dealer to have it addressed. I’ll reply back here once fixed.
