Happened to me again last night...didn't even check the truck...in the app said it was charging...and it was...truck sat for about 2 hours before plugging in. Previous night I didn't plug in and the Wednesday night plugged in with no error message.
Believe it or not...but there are some parts of America where the distance between DC fast chargers is >150 miles...and it gets down to -20F...with 40mph headwinds...
I received a "charging error" message two nights ago...pulse quickens...here we go...drivetrain malfunction...go to garage and blue rings, truck still charging, Tesla level 2 charger still pulsing green...I have only received the message that one time...I am now interested to see if I receive...
Green....at this point my lawn is a fine mix of fescue, rye and a little Kentucky blue....I live in a dryer, warmer (in the summer) part of Montana, but also have shade trees...so need to mix it up to maintain that sea of green.
My yard care has gone completely electric. Started with some Black and Decker gear (which has held up surprisingly well). Then a Kobalt mower (because they were running an incredible deal on mower and 80V battery) which naturally went to a Kobalt snowblower (because it was also a great deal and...
I'm bumping this thread because I have my 10,000 mile service scheduled and still have the CSP 24B56 open. The truck has been driving fine, BlueCruise works (don't have 1.4), and parking sensors function. Torn on whether to have them handle the CSP. Anyone have it updated recently? Successful?
I too have a '23 Lariat ER that had the initial recall. I haven't noticed anymore float, but when making a sharp left hand turn (only to left, not right) I now hear a rubbing sound and occasionally a slight knock. Only time(s) I am making such a sharp turn is in a parking lot or having to leave...
Wish my wife had not pushed for the Lariat trim with sunroof...most of what I have heard regarding Ford sunroofs is not positive....I love the sunroof...I do not look forward to the problems.
I have gone with Geico for my insurance needs. Nothing but positives with Geico...thus far....I typically "shop" insurance every two years and each time Geico has came back the cheapest.
Poor April sales were "due to low inventory"...I put that in quotes because that is what Ford said...I believe the Lightning is still selling, even being an "old" truck, because it is new to a lot of people. More and more people are figuring out that electric can work for them and they want a...
"A Ford spokeperson said the poor EV sales were due to the model year changeover for the two vehicles and low supply on dealer lots. Going into April, Mach-E and F-150 Lightning were operating nation-wide on 9 and 19 dealer days' supply."
Corporate speak or honest numbers? Nine to 19 days...
I particularly enjoyed her question and slight disgust regarding pricing going forward...as if Farley is going to clearly lay out on CNN Ford's pricing strategy for all to see.
"Interviews" like this are why 99% of my news (outside of the local news) comes from The Economist. The lady clearly had an agenda. Instead of conducting an actual interview it was a sad attempt to get Farley to produce some clickbait quote...unfortunately for her, Farley pretty well just stayed...
Definitely seems low...just did a somewhat hilly stretch (mostly flat but some alright hills up and down) of interstate yesterday...it was 50 miles one way with zero traffic....did 75 mph way out and got 2.0 mi/kwh (air temp of 56*)...way back I did 80 mph and got 1.5 mi/kwh (air temp of 42*)...
