Then tell me why we have a heat pump installed that cost over $5,000.00 just for the heat pump and last winter during several cold spells where we were -21F or so and the gas furnace ran most of the time because the heat pump would not heat the house. Called the heat pump manufacture and they...
I drive in normal mode and one pedal and haven't come upon a hill where I've ever had to hit the brakes when going down the hill, no matter how steep it may be.
Hit No Active Trailer and it took care of the issue. If I ever have the trailer on the PU again I will take the advice and unplug with the truck on. Thanks
Thanks was looking on the screen that has vehicle, software, etc. Not the app screen. Have a towing app and had to hit No Active Trailer. Seems dumb I have to do this. My 2018 King Ranch 3.0 diesel is smarter than the lightning, it knows when I unplug the trailer. All is good!
Yes for 10 miles, bought a 400 lb aluminum trailer. Won't be towing it with the Lightning, I have an F150 diesel. Looked and don't see a trailering app in the big screen. Will look again, must be there
When I start my ford lightning, it says says range adjusted because trailer is connected, but i have no trailer connected and truck says no trailer connected in the trailer menu. I have tried a few things suggested here like " Towing / Trailer menu select the no trailer option". I assume this is...
Was gone for a bit over a month, left my truck plugged into my Ford charger while I was gone and the 12V battery was still fully charged at the same level when I got home as before I left. I checked both times to see if it was loosing charge when gone, and apparently the charger kept the 12V...
I drove a 2023 Lariat ER from Fargo ND to Spokane Wa last winter in below zero temps and and a good share of the trip was through Montana. It is doable but you have to plan your trip. If you charge at home then it is a non issue unless you drive over 200 miles each day.
Also I suggest you call Ford engineers and set them straight regarding all the batteries that they have already replaced one module or so in and have them recall all of those trucks because it sounds like you are much more of an expert than the guys that designed the trucks and batteries. I will...
If you are so anti EV why are you here? Also where are your facts you are so proud of. If you would open your mind and actually listen to other folks, you might actually learn something rather than sounding like a know it all because none of us know it all. Fact
By the way you aren't the only one here doing their own research and I NEVER accused you of not doing yours so please don't accuse me of not doing mine. Also the lithium batteries and the advanced battery management software (BMS) have not been around even close to the 40 years you quoted. You...
Where do you get the facts that that only 1/2 are on the road. There are many Tesla's on the road with 200,000+ miles and the batteries are fine if you take care of them. I sold a 2016 with 169,000 miles on it and I paid to have the Tesla shop rate the battery for me so I could accurately state...
Tesla started building roadsters 16 years ago in 2008 and the majority of them are still going strong. Some with over 300,000 miles on the batteries. An owner has one with 328,000 miles on it and had the batteries tested and still has over 93% of the original battery life. I owned a 2016 Model X...
I charge at 48 amps rather than 80 amps each night and my 2023 ER Lariat truck is always ready to go at 0700 so not sure why folks are so upset that the 24s do not charge at 80 amps. Also a slower charge is better for the battery.
OtterJohn, when I go to Connected Services, this is all I have " Ford Premium Connectivity, BlueOval™ Charge Network, Connected Built-in Navigation, Alexa Built-in, Ford BlueCruise. Can’t fins anything regarding the adaptor anymore. Where did you go from there? Thanks
