I almost went with Folsom, but ended up going with Carson City since I live in Tahoe. I bought my Bronco Badlands from them and they were great, so I stuck with them and ordered Lariat last wave.
I think I’m going to build an off grid power station just for my Lightning, like this guy did for...
I agree! I like how Tesla just makes you choose between three options with Model 3 and Y, standard, long range and performance. I’m selling Model Y LR when my Lariat ER says it’s shipping. Holding onto Lariat to see what other options come out in the next couple years and will sell it then if I...
Done! $500 deposit and no mark up. I thought I saw something on SR non available for lariat? Someone might want to double check that for others if they can.
I wonder how many people ordered a Pro today? From the looks of it, it seemed they were out of Pro immediately? Looks like I will be driving my Model Y around for another year. Pro, or nothing for me.
Definitely ordering at the dealership in person. Old school. I like to see people face to face. Plus they already sold me a Bronco and I went in person for that too.
All charges, like using it for commuting Monday through Friday? Then not commuting on the weekends, except for errands. That’s normal use of a car and I’m sure tapping in a few extra kilowatts is not going to be a big deal. These things were made to be used everyday and charge up when needed.
I’m sure once
If he keeps his battery between 20 and 80% while doing this and will only probably need about 10 or so Kilowatts during peak it should not degrade it. Not substantially. I plan on using it this way as well, as soon as the tech is revealed how it will work with charging the house.
I’m in the same boat. I reserved two, one for me and my father. I’m hoping we can do the paperwork in his name and one in my name, even though both reservations are in my name.
I transferred from Sacramento ,Ca. to Carson City, NV and I did not get put in back of the line. My reservation time stamp after transferring got me #4 or #5 in line. That’s what I was told today.
What a relief. I just switched dealerships last week and found out this morning I landed 4 and 5 on the list. That is good enough for me!
I was #17 on the Bronco list and got my Bronco in October. They had 90 allotments for those, but not sure how many they have for the Lightning.
I just switched dealers and went with the one, where I purchased my Bronco. My number is
10815274 and my email verifying it was at 6:43pm PST. I’m hoping, that I end up on the list high enough, since I switched? I’m calling them tomorrow to see where I landed after switching to them.
If you buy two Lightnings, can you put in for tax credit on both? If I paid enough in taxes that cover $7500 for both! I reserved one for my father and one for me. But they are both in my name and he doesn’t pay enough in taxes. I doubt it! I don’t know.
Capital Ford, in Carson City. We wrote up the order back in January and I put $1000 down. It was delivered a week ago and I paid what was on the order form.
