I'm seeing a similar thing here in the MA climate. It happened yesterday after I started the truck on my commute home. The steering wheel showed ON, but it was cold. The seat warmers worked, heat was on, but nothing from the steering wheel.

After driving the Odyssey on Thanksgiving, I decided to take the Lightning to Maine for Christmas. With the high temps and lack of congestion on Thanksgiving weekend, I figured I'd go for it.
I easily averaged 2.2kWhr/mile on the way up going 70mph on 95. Then charged...
I struggled between SR and ER back in February 2022 when it was my time to place the order. I ended up going with the Lariat ER for the following reasons:
- I live in a northern climate and assumed cold weather would drastically impact range.
- First EV. I wanted the buffer.
- Battery...

I'm having a similar issue. The Ford Pass app shows the FCSP with the red triangle with exclamation point. Do we know what this means? Also, I'm not getting any data and I'm assuming that this is the reason. Do I need to do a factory reset on the FCSP?
I'm in the same boat. I switched suppliers from National Grid to Discount Power, Inc. at 22cents per kwhr. They're a green provider and figured for a few cents more than Constellation, I'd pay the premium. Also, there's no contract and a $50 gift card for new subscribers. When the rates...
I got locked out a few weeks ago. I assumed it was either the Charge Smart program or the 3rd party Mach E widget. Hopefully I don't get locked out again because at 44 cents /kWhr in Massachusetts right now, I could use the 3 cent savings!
All of those stations are under 40 mikes from where I live. Jts the stretch from Portland to Rumford Maine that's the issue.
I just dropped $1,000 yesterday on the Odyssey on new brakes, oil change and inspection sticker to get it ready for the trip. I'll ultimately end up going this route...
If it wasn't for the holiday weekend and reading about the line at Tesla Supercharger stations, I'd go for it. I'm still considering it, but the more and more I think about it, the Odyssey may be the way to go here.
So true. My biggest worry! The Odyssey is just not that fun to drive. It's the safe bet though.
Today I trialed a trip to work this morning in 20F temps, no preconditioning and 68mph and was getting about 1.6m/kwhr. That gets me about 210 total miles on a charge. Its 144miles to the house...
I noticed this issue this morning. It was the first time I preconditioned due to the low temps here in Massachusetts. When I first got in the truck, the cabin and steering wheel were warm. After 10-15 minutes I noticed the steering wheel was no longer heated. My hands were cold! I couldn't drive...
Do you see much activity at the Rowe Charepoints? I'm thinking I may hit this station on the way there or back for a good hour plus knowing there's a Target (make my wife happy) and Applebee's (kids happy) right next to it. There's only two 62.5kw stations. Hoping there's not a few people with...
That's the unknown. Im worried about the Thanksgiving traffic at these stations. I'm sure many people will think "we'll just hit the EA at so and so", but if 50 people think that, it'll be a huge backup.
Mine are working OK for the most part. There was one incident where only the driver side mirror folded in while the passenger side stayed out. It fixed itself the next time I started the truck.
Honestly, I tend to agree. It's just the unknown of the Rumford, ME area. I'm trying to use ABRP at 666watts per mile. That's about 1.5 miles/kwhr which is think is fair with cold temps, highway speeds and heat on. It's suggesting like you said. Hit the Scarborough WA on the way up to fast...
We live in Amesbury, MA, right on the MA and NH border. There are EA charging stations in Seabrook, NH and Scarborough, ME. Then DCFC in Kittery, ME and Kennebunk, ME. The issue I'm seeing is after Scarborough there's only 62.5kW in Auburn and then only L2 charging. If I leave Amesbury with 100%...
The chargers in Kennebunk down is my biggest fear. Banking on a quick top up, but they're broken would screw me.
I'm heading to Rumford, ME. At the Lewiston/Auburn exit there will be a dual 62.5kW/125kW station in the future. For now there's two 62.5kW stations at a Rowe dealer in Auburn that...
