Some sites that I've seen, say up in Maine, no one is ever there. A DCFC station that I passed the other day while up there located two DCFC in the back of the parking lot. No one was near by. I can easily see pulling up a Lightning with a trailer without blocking the parking lot or even the...
Likely going through a CU is the way I'll end up going. My issue is the payment now. With Ford Options, I felt I could get something about $650 a month. Now through a CU it's $800 with a long term loan. My truck's build week is this month, so I won't be taking delivery until August. Maybe...
Any updates on Ford Options and residuals for the month of July? Has anyone gone this route?
When I started considering financing options for the truck, the Ford Options program stood out as a way to keep payments low, reduce risk from the EV market resale and as a three year trial if an EV...
From a charging standpoint, I guess I'm saying pulling up a truck with a pop-up you stand a better chance of charging without disconnecting than say with a 30ft travel trailer. I know both may block traffic.
Hi everyone -
I see lots of videos with the Lightning pulling large travel trailers or large loads in general, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with pulling a more traditional pop-up tent trailer? I'm thinking with the reduced weight and increased aerodynamics of a pop-up, towing a...
Ever hear of anyone moving up after getting a sticker? I assume I can't go back, but would they ever move me a week ahead to say 7/11 from 7/18? This would assume they're cranking them out more efficiently in a month.
Just checked. Got mine too! Blend date of July 22nd.
By getting a window sticker, does that solidify the build date? Can it fluctuate or shift after a window sticker is issued? Can I finally stop checking hourly for changes to my date?!?!!
I've been in touch with MOR-EV Trucks folks for many months regarding the Lightning. They've acknowledged that based on the window stickers I've sent over and other information, that it appears the truck does meet the program requirements. However, they have yet to have an application for a...
Still holding strong on 7/18 after a bunch of bumps back. I'm hoping we get our stickers this week since many in the 7/11 group received theirs last week. Fingers crossed.
Nope. I looked at that post, saved the photos and posted here. I have an AMB Lightning ER being built 7/18 and I'm always looking for photos of the truck. Figured I'd put then here to share with those who didn't check out the cars and bids site.
I've had some late tweaks to my build date. I feel like they all don't shift at once, so there's still hope for scheduling later today. Hang in there. You're one of the few that actually get a Lightning this year.
This gets be nervous! I jumped a few times from 6/13 to 7/18. I was thinking no way I could ever be pushed even further, but after seeing your 6/13 to 9/26 jump I'm having second thoughts!
I second that. Typically it happens late Thursday or on Friday. Good luck!
I'm hoping my date shifts down for once instead of pushing into August I've been 6/13 -> 6/20 -> 7/11 -> 7/18
I've seen my build date shift from 6/13 to 6/20 to 7/11 and now 7/18. I've noticed the shifts have happened on Thursdays or Fridays.
Is this typical? Are Thursdays or Fridays to days to monitor your accounts to see if your Build Date has been modified? I'm hoping it'll shift back down for once!
We're in the same boat. I was all about the XLT ER based on the leaked pricing last summer. I bumped up to the Lariat ER like Ford wanted purely due to my excitement and desire for the ER battery. At 80k, I refused to pay for extras and colors outside of the Max Tow Package which I felt was...
I agree with your reasoning for a drop in instead of the spray liner. I'll have a similar use case for my truck and I didn't feel the extra money when already spending 80k was worth it on a spray in. Plus, I was concerned about all the talk delaying the truck due to the liner. I plan on either...
