Ok, so I doubt that 600lbs are going to be THE difference. If Costco won't install them I'd simply purchase the tire and wheel without installation. Then either install them myself or go to another tire shop to get it installed...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a 114 can still support over 10 000lbs. Seeing as the truck is around 7000lbs, you would need to put over 3000lbs of cargo for it to be a risk no?
I've been flip flopping between the two...yes the X-Ice do have a higher rating, their max psi is also set at 44 and I don't know how comfortable I am with the truck demanding 42 in day to day driving.
As for the blizzaks, yes they do have a lighter rating, they have a max psi of 50...as I...
I mean, technically speaking 90% of 131 is 117.9, which would actually be 82% of the battery.
I'm thinking if you want to follow the golden 30-80% rule, you should mathematically keep your battery between 32-87%.
That's rounding down as well, so you could say 33-88% which is a few weird...
I haven't done any testing beyond what I've needed...I live in Northern Ontario so heat is not that much of an issue.
Just saying it hasn't been a big deal for what I've needed so far.
I don't have it and have not had any thermal issues thus far...I tow occasionally an ATV and have had decent charging speeds when charging (125-140 kWh charging speeds).
Honestly, I was a bit worried when I didn't get it at first, but I'm not really regretting it after two months of use.
I don't know about that. Since I got the update, the charge station turns white every time I unplug it from the truck. I'm starting to think that it turns white when it's communicating with the app to update the insight...
Definitely something changed with one pedal driving. Major improvement in my eyes. That being said, still feels a bit clunky when doing stop and go at low speeds (like in a drive thru). Feels like the break pads are sticky or something, really hard to explain...
Yeah... I've got 200 amp service with: Geothermal heating, Electric hot water heater, well pump, electric dryer, electric oven, etc.
I don't always have it at 80amps just by choice, but when I do...I haven't had any issue. Heck, my sub panel in my garage is 100 amps and everything works...
It would really all be great...but I would settle for getting the time on my front dash screen...I mean I'm just annoyed having to look at the larger screen everytime I want to know what time it is...
@Ford Motor Company Thanks for fixing the 80 amps for most users. Are you guys aware that the fix has also caused the charge station to stop communicating "insights" in the app? This used to be an excellent tool to figure out how much energy has been put into the truck and how much it has cost...
My FCSP light went white the other morning as soon as I unplugged my truck. I let it be for a bit and when I came back, it seems as though the update had happened...
The 9.6 includes the extra 2.4 that can be accessed through the 20 amp outlets.
The math just checks out: 240 v x 30 amp = 7.2kwh. The outlet given is also for a 30 amp rated wire.
As far as I know, using the FCSP with HIS is the only way to plug into one spot to get the full 9.6.
Hey guys,
Seeing as I live in Northern Ontario, there is going to be a natural risk of rusting (specially if I bring the truck in every night to charge). I've tried to get an answer from Ford if rustproofing such as corrosion free or Krown would damage anything under the vehicle and so far I've...
Ok. I would've thought that it simply wouldn't have worked if that was the issue and not power the house temporarily before going down... I'm not the one who did the installation but I'll find out!
What it seems to be doing is not even supplying much of anything to the house...
It starts and peaks around 2 kw and then just drops until everything in the house loses power.
Heck, whatever it's doing caused my power bar to no longer function.
