Yea, I remember when I did mine. Which is exactly why I don't like easy mode. If the script in FORScan is wrong, who knows what it changed? If the code wasn't there before, I don't see what else can be causing it. Or write the config to the PCM with FDRS and see if that clears it.
I don't like easy mode in FORScan. I always make the changes manually, but that's just me. First thing I'd try is to change it back to whatever was there before using easy mode and see if the code clears.
@awilli1010 @Jasin Sorry for the multiple posts, but I edited my prior post with the correct value for the 09-04 location and wanted to make sure you guys saw it after I edited it.

@Jasin
Correct the location in your posts please to avoid confusion to anyone that comes across this. I fixed it in mine already. Sorry for the mix up.

A 1 there is what it should be. The 3 added a button to your touchscreen somewhere for a power...
FORScan will correct the checksum on its own.
Wait, you are saying you did this and it didn't fix the issue? This would be a first.
Edit: Your truck has the 12" screen. What value was there before you changed it to a 3? If there was a 2, you change it to 3. If there was a 6, you change it to...
You can see it in either PTS, FDRS or FORScan. FDRS and FORScan would be the most accurate. In FDRS, click the IPC and then scroll done to see what it says in the F188 location. You have to be missing the latest IPC update if you don't see the lane change text. There really is no other...
Correct. There is nothing you can to do (unless you know someone or made a Facebook BFF that works for the Sync team at Ford like that d-bag I had to block on here some time ago) to force the server to queue up an update for a vehicle. FDRS is the only way to install available updates on the spot.
No, but that won't prevent any other update from coming in. That message will stay there until another update comes in and replaces that message with the info that pertains to the next one. That is totally normal.
Yes, the changes I posted are ONLY for people who got the BC 1.4 OTA. If you update with FDRS, you need to make changes to the IPMA, too. I won't post the IPMA changes publicly for several reasons, but message me and I'll get them to you.
If you updated the IPMA with FDRS, you will have to enable lane change etc with FORScan. FDRS updates the firmware, but it does not add the config to enable the new features. If so, anyone that got the CSP for the parking sensors would have functional BC 1.4.
When you get the update via OTA...
