Ford only pays the dealers to install CSPs. You might have to pay to get everything updated, if they are even willing.

I normally don't buy the extended warranty, but I did on this truck. My 23 lightning is the 2nd year of production and if I need a repair in year 4 I can't just take this truck anywhere but the dealer. One repair to the cooling system or replacing a light bar will pay for itself

I have solar and hourly billing with time of use rates. My solar gives me credits during the day for power I send back to the grid. I charge my truck at night when the rates are cheapest from the credits

Is it a 23 or 24 ER? The 24 will only charge up to 48 amps. 24 does NOT come with the FSCP. There are a lot of cheaper EVSEs available than the Ford charger.

Aluminum wire or a disconnect won't affect charging speed. Also Aluminum wire should save few dollars on materials

Since the 12v battery status is available on ford.com. why don't they have it on fordpass? Seems like a no brainer

Check the VIN #s for any outstanding CSPs and have the dealer complete them before delivery

Don't think the DC side will work with tesla. It only works with Fords HIS. Don't hook the DC to anything.
