UPDATE:
And just like that it went back to its old behavior where it is solid white after I unplug but goes back to solid blue in a few minutes after that. No more flashing. Not sure what got fixed.
That does not work for a long roadtrip. You need the ability to type in a destination and have it calculate charge stops along with the time you need to charge. I am guessing many have never experienced this level of convenience full EV route planning brings. The Tesla app is just good for...
Android Auto is the best solution to the problem in the absence if true built in NACS routing. It is one of the few solutions that has preconditioning. Sadly I am on iOS so I have a nerfed integration that works okay but is not as good as the Android Auto integration.
Maybe you’re missing the point of my post. We gained NACS Superchargers access a long time ago. Up until a few weeks ago, all anyone could do was rely on a half-baked CarPlay/Android Auto integration to navigate long multi-stop trips where NACS Superchargers were exclusively used (The only...
The lack of NACS routing for <2024 models is why I can’t and won’t use the built in nav. I want to use it, and am even willing to pay the subscription when it comes due, but not if Ford has seemingly abandoned users of vehicles below 2024 which they seemed to have done here with this latest...
Good call. I called the Ford one and was told I was downreved on firmware, however I don’t think the person I was talking to understands semantic versioning and the version they said I needed was an old one. I will find the Siemens number and call them today. Thank you for this suggestion!
I noticed a while ago that when I unplug my truck the light on the FCSP fast blinks blue. It otherwise works great and I have no issues charging my truck at full speed since I have a 100A circuit and a 2023 with the dual onboard chargers.
Anyone seen something like this? The manual does not...
I think I am going to start using the native nav if they ever bless the 2022/2023 trucks with this. The advantage is that it does preconditioning. Now if you are an Android user you have this now, but not us IOS users.
I hope Ford doesn’t abandon us <2024 Lightnings.
Update, as was mentioned nothing for <2024 trucks. I just checked my truck in PTS and there are no APIM updates. There is an update that supposedly fixes an active airdam DTC and associated other modules but none of the “good stuff”.
Perhaps this is part of the big update some dealer techs have been told about, that brings parity software-wise to their fleet.
While I certainly hope Ford doesn’t discontinue this awesome truck, if they do, at least we will have most of the latest functionality. All things that make the...
This is great news and something I have been waiting for since NACS support rolled out. If we can use the native nav and have it vector to Tesla Superchargers then we get the other nice things like preconditioning and the ability to monitor the fast charge remotely (I.e., when we stop at a...
I would love to have a working advanced charging screen without all of the errors. Think this is the last thing I could hope for as I have integrated all of the other changes including charge speed in IPC, PP with the ignition off. Wish that Ford had provided these things, but they don’t so FDRS...
I put the change into place today but reverted it due to inconsistencies. I already have the rate in IPC on my 2023 so I guess I don’t really need this on the Sync screen.
I would like to know if there are some other changes needed to make these settings a little less odd. I.e, like the 100%...
Old post but I wanted to circle back around and report that all choppiness is gone with my new iPhone Air and 26.0.1. I have not gotten the choppy audio at any of the previous locations where this would happen. I am not sure the thing that fixed it since the early 26.0.0 on my previous iPhone...
