  1. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

This is the one that puzzles me. I have all of these updates done on my truck yet do not see those things in the FordPass app.
  2. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

That’s what I was going for. Also sorry about that. Sometimes it’s hard to remember that not everybody is in the same headspace and engaged with this at the same level. The post was more for those who actively use the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS) to update modules in their truck. The...
  3. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

What I did get made some significant improvements though. I had the usual DDM and PDM. Normally these don’t seem to make any change, now with the latest code my doors are sensitive and the black lock button actually works in first press. Since I got the truck this lock was hit or miss to where I...

Hope so. There are some bugs in the APIM version I have now. Just finished the GWM module via CAN (hello two hours). I will see if it triggers an APIM.
  5. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

That may be it. I will give that a go for the next USB-based update. Again, thanks for the sage advice.
  6. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

I guess I had most of the modules updated, but I do have a GWM one that is underway now via FDRS. Hoping that brings some more stability to my CarPlay connection. None of my USB-C devices would work for it so I opted for updating via CAN do very slow. This happens from time to time where I...
  7. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

I don't think there is a good political way to do this unless you are buddies with the mechanic. If they kill the battery, you get a new one. It's a waste, but what can we do. It was on the first iteration of that front sensor fix that they killed my battery. I pressed them on it but they...
  8. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

It is crazy to think that trained mechanics are doing this, but here we are. I was the victim of this on my first service appointment. They replaced the AGM, on my new lightning. The one thing I made sure I did when I started doing my own module programming was to have a high quality, high...
  9. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

Got my hopes up for a new version of APIM that is not as buggy, but alas all I have are some boiler plate updates available for my truck like, GVM, PDM, DDM, and the ever persistent RFA and ACM. Have the updates been released by Ford yet, or is it still too early?
  10. Issue with driver display "my view" resetting frequently.

Experiencing the same thing. It seems to happen more when both my wife and I get in the truck with our phones, almost like it gets confused.
  11. Driver profile photos can not be set when you have the latest APIM update

Yes this used to be the way. With the latest APIM it is no longer possible as tested with iPhone and Android. Again I have only 1 contact with my name and number. It is the my contact and I can no longer pull it up to use with a profile. Bear in mind I did the exact procedure many months ago...
  12. Driver profile photos can not be set when you have the latest APIM update

My truck has the latest updates on all modules and is running the latest APIM for the 23 MY. Due to a dealer mess up I had to factory reset my truck. I had custom profile pictures for both drivers and when I went to set everything back up using the normal method of connecting my iPhone with...
  13. BlueCruise gone after dealer applied 24B56 and 24P24

Yup. I took it into my dealership today to get it worked out. We shall see if they can.
  14. BlueCruise gone after dealer applied 24B56 and 24P24

Multiple days and calls to Ford support and I am still sitting here with no BlueCruise. Again I had it before these updates and used it a lot. Had a subscription till 2027. Ford has been unhelpful in restoring it telling me I need to wait until the 10th of January then call them back when it...
  15. BlueCruise gone after dealer applied 24B56 and 24P24

No it is not. The hands free options are also missing from the Driver Assistance menu on the truck as well.
  16. BlueCruise gone after dealer applied 24B56 and 24P24

Brought my 23 Lightning to the dealership initially for 24B56. They also performed a reprogram of the front hatch control module. When I got it back PAAK was essentially disabled and messed up?!. Through a series of troubleshooting steps, it eventually got factory reset and I proceeded to set...
  17. Bluecruise 1.4 officially being sent out to F150 & Lightnings starting today (12/11/24)!

I do have a question about some of the verbiage in the BC 1.4 update where it states we have one button activation. I have always had this. When I am on a BC compatible road and I press the cruise button it enables BC. How is this different on this version?
  18. Bluecruise 1.4 officially being sent out to F150 & Lightnings starting today (12/11/24)!

I am curious about this as well. I enabled via FORScan and have not had an OTA since October 15th. Last month I manually did all of my updates via FDRS but none of them had the BC 1.4 changes. The truck has consistently said no updates since October 15th. I hope I am not hosed.
