I received the update on the 31st, however it never showed the changes and said to check the vehicle. However the vehicle says to check later… so I dunno.
Anyone have any recommendations for center and rear inserts? The front ones have tension on the sides via plastic and springs, but the center and back don’t have those and I worry about larger drinks spilling easier (ie McDonalds).
I had 4.1.2 installed on 1/26 and a few days after I saw a large download of 18.3MB. I drove the truck around since then, and nothing has happened yet (ie new updates installed). I did check and I do have NBC and YT though, so I am not sure what’s going on.
Not all the time. However I noticed it will connect initially when close by and charging, and then maybe intermittently throughout the day. My update came around several minutes after I set to do the preconditioning.
I was updated to 4.1.2 this evening. Yesterday I noticed a “large” download (84MB) and then a few drive cycles later, it was updated. My vehicle is connect to Wi-Fi and I have a connectivity plan through ATT. However I have pretty bad connectivity (only 2 bars) when at home.
As of 21 hours ago, my truck lost connectivity to Ford Pass. I tried a few things to make it work, but nothing works so far.
EDIT: I will try the fuse and/or the battery terminal if nothing happens.
EDIT 2: I pulled the fuse and waited a few minutes and put it back in. I then started the truck...
Ironically I had this issue with not only Fords, but my wife's Bolt. The quick workaround is hit the Sync button (voice interaction) the on the steering wheel, wait for the tone, and then just hit it again (so twice). Its annoying, but I found this out when was in my wife's bolt, and I noticed...
You might as well go to the hardware store and pick up a stainless steel bolt for a lot cheaper (1/4-20 if I remember correctly), and just paint it black or use some sort of plastic/rubber spray.
Otherwise, you can just use a plastic tree too.
It will most likely work, however one thing to note is more aerodynamic drag. It won't be much, but if you are hauling a lot and a good distance you might see it.
Lemon laws are not fun, and I did one back in 2010ish. I had to goto court multiple times, multiple care inspections, and in the end, the lawyer took most of the "award money". Ironically enough though, several months later there was a TSB related to my concern.
Interesting... The main issue I had with mine is that I couldn't close it and that ICE would build up around it when it was plugged in. Luckily, we might be out of the woods since the weather in the NE US isn't as bad this year, but it still can be.
I saw something on the e-transits, and it...
