  1. New to FORscan: Don't see all modules listed

Hi, you have a base 23 pro? I also have the same (no options, no wires). what you’re saying is very strange. You should have an IPMA showing on forscan. I do. Your vehicle has an IPMA module in it. This is what houses the front facing camera in the windshield for collision warnings and lane...
  2. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I think what needs to be done based on reading the ICE F-150 thread is wire the new radar module directly to the module at the drivers side. You basically skip needing to route it through the passenger kick well. At least that is my understanding but someone more experienced than me probably...
  3. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Yeah :( Thats what I thought. What a bummer. Thanks for confirming. Seems like it won't be possible for me to add it. Thanks again. EDIT: I've read through a portion of this thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/adding-co-pilot-assist-2-0-with-forscan.5028/ and it seems that people...
  4. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Ha! No, no I'm not sure. This is what I saw that looked like the other images but seemed to be missing the wires. This is through the little view in the access panel so it's certainly possible I was looking at the wrong one.
  5. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Is it still possible if I do not have the wires in either location? I did not see them through the driver side panel OR the dashboard location. Someone just said that without the wires in either location it isn't possible.
  6. Turn off Reverse Brake Assist Warning Message?

That is only to turn the feature on or off. I prefer it turned off. The issue is that when it is set off, the driver display has a pop up warning every time that says ā€œreverse parking assist off press okā€ and it is annoying using forscan my understanding is that you are able to stop that...
  7. Turn off Reverse Brake Assist Warning Message?

Hi, has anyone figured out how to turn off the warning that you have reverse brake assist turned off? I found the line in Livnitup's Forscan guide (it's even listed under "common") but it doesn't seem to work on my 2023 Pro. If I change the indicated flag in FORscan (706-01-01) as found on the...
  8. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Thats what I was worried about. Darn. I really screwed up on my order. I totally missed that the tow tech package had the 360 camera. I would have gotten it just for that even though I do not tow (which is why I ignored it). Then I could have had this. Poop. Thanks so much for taking a look...
  9. DIY: Installing ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) and LKA (Lane Keep Alert) to 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Hi all! I had planned this for my second big project but I'm now 99.9% sure I do not have the required wires in my 2023 Pro and I'm beginning to wonder if it's too challenging. The FORScan stuff ive now gotten pretty comfortable with. The wire harness and the rest, no prob. But those damn wires...
  10. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

I read that whole other thread...and its the wires that worries me haha. I have a base base 2023 pro. No options at all, no tow tech or max tow or pro power. I'll go check the wires and take pics and switch to the other thread. I need to get a firmer understanding on the options if I don't...
  11. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Guys, you are not going to believe this....it is done and working! AND NO DTCs! First, I undid the change that I made for the IPMA. This was a "practice" change and was from Livnitup's common changes to remove the rear brake assist warning. I only changed the one integer he said, but it caused...
  12. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

that’s sort of what I guessed just looking at it but it’s the magic of knowing and finding it behind the scenes that I did not understand lol. Thanks for explaining!
  13. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

that makes a ton of sense! So that profile isn’t saving any of the configurations or firmware, just the structure of the build. I appreciate it! is there a best practices approach to backing up the firmware before updating or is it just that if it gets bricked to try again? I saw there was a...
  14. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

Thanks for the reply. I did use the dashboard feature and I did see the change from ā€œnoā€ to ā€œyesā€ on both features one at a time. one question on forscan (I’ve seen different recommendations on my day of ā€˜learning’ yesterday)- should I select my same truck’s profile each time or should I have...
  15. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

right copy that. I already purchased the primed f150 handle and installed and verified with dashboard. This is just for the aesthetics of the cover because I scratched up the handle a bit with the collect on the dremel. Oops lol.
  16. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

thanks! I found your comment confirming those earlier in the thread. Just reached out to see if I can cancel the order I placed late last night for the f150 handle lol.
  17. DIY: Installing Passive Entry To A 2022 F-150 Lightning XLT

thanks a bunch for the reply. Thought about this all night haha. I’ll try to first fix the ipma issue, then do the firmware, then update you. Also, good call on the bronco handle. Looks like it’s about $40 more. As much as I feel confident I could do a better job, I’d still need to buy another...
  18. how to overcome "unable to connect to vehical"

I had this error a couple times. It resolved by unplugging and replugging the usb side of the OBDlink. I kept trying the vehicle side. But for some reason the usb did jt.
