  2. âś… 6/6 Lightning Build Week Group

This is too funny. We have a 2022 GTPE, in Space White, as well. I also have a Bronco BL Sas in A51. However, here in NJ we are EV only. My Bronco is in FL at my other home. Wow we seem to have similar tastes.
  3. âś… 6/6 Lightning Build Week Group

speaking for myself, it’s better than expected. I have 3k miles in the month of which 2k were on a road trip. It seems to do everything well. It’s comfortable, fast and practical. The short coming to me is the ford pass app compared to some competitors and the lack of phone as a key (PAAK).

So the latest is shipped? What's up with the yo-yo back and forth. Come on Ford get this truck to the customer! I check this thread religiously to finally see: I got my truck!
  5. People don’t seem to care…

It’s annoying. I’m overly considerate of other peoples stuff (cars in this case) but most people don’t car if they ding your car or bump it parking.

Let’s hope this actually the case. No one left behind in the 6/6 group.

  9. New York to Florida and Back in my F-150 Lightning Lariat Extended Range

Great write up. I just did a similar trip and was curious about two of the stations that you stopped at that I didn’t. The first was the WaWa in Delaware and the other was Sheetz. I don’t know why I was skeptical of those but I am adding them to the list of good-to-go. I had an issue when I...
  10. Suspension lowering options for Lightning

I’d probably try and put it in the frunk.
  11. Anyone switch from a Tesla and regret it?

I've had a few Teslas and still have a MYP. I have since moved on from a model S Perf to a Taycan 4S a MME GTPE and a F150 Lightning. I've done more roadtrips in the Taycan and the F150 than any of my Teslas. I am not going to sit here and tell you that CCS DCFC is anywhere as good as Tesla's...
  12. FCSP outdoor mounting options

Good thing I have a Tesla charger in the garage then. thanks for the info.
  13. FCSP outdoor mounting options

Thanow for the information. Wrt the tesla charging they come with a J1722 to Tesla adapter.
  14. FCSP outdoor mounting options

Has anyone installed their FCSP outdoors? I want to be able to allow others that may not park in my garage to use the charger (visitors, neighbors, etc) and was curious if it was durable enough. I don't want to mount it on my house but not sure if there are other options. I appreciate the...
  15. 1870 miles round trip Rumson, NJ to Amelia Island, FL

I don't have an axe to grind as I'm an adopted son there. I really enjoy the back and forth over UGA and UF when the cocktail party comes in late October. I think Amelia is considered FL because it's south of the St Mary's river but it does seem to be part of the island strand that is clearly...
  16. 1870 miles round trip Rumson, NJ to Amelia Island, FL

I am using iOS and I purchased this dongle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NFLL3NT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I like it because it uses BT low energy. I didn't really find it necessary because the trip was so vanilla to really focus on the stats from ABRP. I did use...
  17. 2200 miles 54 hour road trip with an 8 month old

which one did you get? I am considering one for tailgating purposes. Cheers
  18. 1870 miles round trip Rumson, NJ to Amelia Island, FL

My Lightning is a Lariat with extended range battery, max tow and tow tech. The 1870 was just the ride between the two locations not counting driving around down in FL on the Island which added up to another 250 or so miles for the week. I left on Friday August 19th stopped for the night in...
