Agreed, and if anyone can do it, it’s BDS. They know their stuff. If I do it I’ll probably do the 4 inch coil over and maybe a 295/60r20. Not sure yet
i’m not sure that’s possible. I know they are the best, but I don’t think it’s possible to lift a truck and go to a larger tire without losing ride quality...even if it’s minimal. I’ll probably go the first year or so stock then maybe go with the 4 inch coil over.
I’m so torn on this, they look awesome and I kind of want to do it. But coming from a raptor I kind of want to enjoy that smooth quiet ride of the new truck with p metric Michelin’s for a while. You are going to have to give us a review once you get it installed and put a few hundred miles on it
that’s good to know, I didn’t ask my question very well. I don’t mind buying the accessory from the dealer. I’m just glad it integrates with the system rather than an aftermarket screen.
I can’t say enough good things about the people at Bedrug. I actually share a warehouse with them. They are great folks, with a great operation, selling a great product. If you happen to call them tell them the tireman in the blue raptor next door sent you.
Reached out to my Hankook rep a few weeks ago and he did confirm they have the 20 inch fitment. I’ll either swap them for either the Michelin Defender in the original size or go with the BFG TA/KO in the 285/60r20. Only problem with the BFG is you have to go with either an 8 or 10 ply rating...
I think going from a 275/60r20 to a 285/60r20 probably won’t have much of an impact. But I would bet that putting a lift with 35’s would cause an issue with the hands free driving. This probably isnt a good truck to do that with.
