Yesterday the Dems voted to raise the debt limit to 31.4 Trillion. Said they needed to in order to pay the bills. LOL I bet they pass the BBB that’s chock full of more spending (sarcastically stated). It ain’t gonna happen.
What if, what if Ford is wanting “Exposure” to its new product line. Ford may wish to spread out all the various trims across the country. If all the Lightning trucks end up in California, no one on the east coast gets a peak every now and again. I know I’ve bought a car/truck simply because I...
Ford could also say; “wait a minute here, this guy has placed an order through a dealership that is 1200 miles away when he’s got 3 or 4 dealerships within a 30 minute drive”. Who knows what algorithm Ford will use to send out the invites to order???? Just saying
Exactly, it stated in the letter, the Dealership Prioritization would serve as “an input”. Ford could look at the time stamps and call “Foul” if a Reservation time stamp was way off, if you get my drift.
Farley and Musk have this interesting relationship where there may be a bit of competition between the two. Every Lightning sold is one less Cybertruck on the streets. Farley will build as many Lightning Trucks as he possibly can.
First four digit may represent the area, (or server) the order came from, i.e. 1079xxxx Southern Florida, 1081xxxx Southwest and so on. Don’t know for sure what the numbers actually mean. Hopefully in January we will all get to order the vehicle of choice. It’s Monday everyone, have a nice...
I’m willing to suggest that Ford has options they’ve not made public. We’ll just have to wait and see. Still amazes me how a company is capable of averaging 100, F150’s per hour, over the last 3 years. A company like that is most likely to produce more 150L trucks than they are letting us believe.
I had a problem very similar to what you guys described, after using the usb cord for a bit, it kinda of fixed itself? Went back to connecting as usual (well as long as the wife’s android was not in range), when she’s in the truck it tends to connect to her phone.
Amazing what FORD is capable of doing!
The F-150 is Fords pride and joy. According to this article Ford is capable of producing, on average, over the past three years, 103 F-series trucks per hour. I tend to believe Ford will increase production enough to keep us all happy, at least the first...
Dealer prioritization does not guarantee allocation.
Dealer prioritization will be an input to determine invitations to change a reservation to an order.
The messages above only means some MAY get an invite sooner than others BUT that doesn’t mean those WILL get their truck sooner. Many on...
With the “Wave” format that’s been discussed, I’m not sure those will be invited to place an order, without there being some sort of comfort that Ford will deliver, that model year to fill that order. If Ford doesn’t “Invite” you to place an order, how can the dealership prioritize that...
Been communicating with my dealer all day since the beginning of the post (Thanks Admin for the email), my dealer knew nothing about the new information and was very thankful that I shared it with them. The dealership informed me that, they have 118 reservation as of today, and assured me, that...

Don’t give up hope folks. We all may get the Lightning of choice.
Yea, for the first year, some guessed 20k, Farley guessed 80k, now, north of 200k. Smart move on Fords behalf to stop reservation until Ford has some idea what the supply chain can support in production.
