Amazing to see and hear you're doing well mate!
As someone who frequents "concrete camping" at a Level 2 out of convenience and circumstances quite often (no trailer): ain't it nice to be able to idle and have heat?
Again, and I can't stress this enough: I just wish there was an option to turn...
I only just realized this now, finally seeing more XLTS on the road.
But I want the recessed white lights as well as the white tailgate lights! It would look pretty sweet to have the four white lights. Nice silhouette.
Unrelated to OP's op but as a mobile user, I thought this was going to be the start of a new country song with the thread title showing up like this...
iOS users: Gets widgets back again
Android: You get nothing! You lose. Good day, Sir!
(I don't understand why we can't get widgets either, with more functionality)
Just over a year of ownership and I've received the Powertrain Malfunction, Service Soon error FOURTEEN TIMES. Most recently yesterday. It's never done anything wrong for me: just usually have to sit and do a quick on-and-off, sure.
But only did I realize that when the error plagues the truck...
See, I'm just wondering why they're having this as a subscription when Apple Maps/Google Maps is right there.
I prefer using Sync Nav and I'm glad I have 3 years of it but it's not worth paying yearly for it. I think they can smack subscription-based payments elsewhere for profit, personally.
I'm actually surprised that Ford doesn't mention routing a road trip with their own Sync system.
I personally like to use it most times — had an experience that Google Maps took me to a fast charger in the middle of the parking lot that didn't exist at all — and it's generally pretty good...
I noticed that it didn't remember the setting *again* earlier this arvo and I went into vehicle -> general settings, and it fixed itself back to 24 hour mode, as if I threaded the truck software ?
Trip Log also still disables itself frustratingly.
Ford please fix ?
Which software version are you on? I haven't noticed this with charging as of yet; we absolutely should be able to do more with the app, including setting charge limit.
Might give it a try tonight.
What's up with that?
I'm on 10.1.1 and I'm noticing that the truck is forgetting I set the truck to 24 Hour mode; Trip Log (a feature I like as it shows where I've traveled to) seemingly disables itself as well, which completely kills driving history on the map.
No, there's only my own profile...
I hope it'll come soon too. Here's a video of the notification showing up. You can force it by deleting app data and cache and relogging back in as it forces the What's New popup.
I was forced logged out for some reason on my FordPass (5.7) and the "What's New" section when you first log in showed this, being a photo of FordPass clearly on a non-Apple Watch!
It seems like it's coming soon for us Android users!
I know a few days/weeks ago, there was an announcement that Samsung's solid state batteries are coming out to premium vehicles in 2027.
My own personal headcanon is that Ford is partnering up to use solid states for T3, which is what the delay was for.
They work.
For me, anyway.
The app looks as if it's trying to load the assets, but the buttons still do work. Phone as a Key is functional, and so do the lock and unlock buttons.
I just have a hard time forgetting which is which...
