  2. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ⛔️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

Well I see the arrogance in your earlier post was no accident, as well as your self appointed expert opinion. Dunning Kruger expert.
  3. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ⛔️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

IMHO, Ford will kiss the feet of the orange one, and delay the new platform at the very least, or out right cancel it in year or two. Cancelling will likely hinge midterm elections, but delay is all but certain.
  4. If you drive dirty roads, check under your frunk

Your post comes off as very condescending and arrogant . If you know something that is not common knowledge, just explain it . I'm quite sure I know plenty of technical things you do not, but I'm not going to act.superior because of it. I'm not superior and neither are you.
  5. Change in battery %

FWIW,I think it's your 12V battery on edge of failure. From proximity and repeated openings of the frunk repeatedly hitting a "weak" battery. This could reduce a weak 12V to the point that the BMS could end up drawing power from the HVB repeatedly trying to level the 12V up, but having...
  6. Ford app 6.3.0 update iOS & Android

I'm plugged in currently, and I have departure time on the vehicle tab.
  7. If the Ramcharger were available when you bought your lightning...

Still would have gone Lightning. In a Lightning because I wanted to get away from gas. Second, Dodge has a poor rep for reliability, and are generally greatly over priced. Had to drive a ICE RAM when my truck was in a body shop. OMG did that thing suck!!!! One of the worst I've ever driven.
  8. Winter plugging in with time-of-use rate plan

Someone posted a few days ago detailed graph of power draw by their truck vs time. Turned out there was a short but repeating spike of energy draw from the truck. So it will use the wall power, and Ford says as much in there recommendations to plug in during very cold and very hot weather if...
  9. Winter plugging in with time-of-use rate plan

We allow charging from the EVSE anytime, but set the EVs to off peak hours. That way they can still draw power if needed for vehicle health, heat or cold
  10. SYNC - 25.2.1.6.X - APIM

I just want my truck to be able to see Tesla chargers. I can deal with lack of sport mode as I rarely use it.
  11. SYNC - 25.2.1.6.X - APIM

Hopefully they will update all 22s and 23s now. Certainly taking their time.
  12. 12V battery replacement poll

I joined the club yesterday. Got a warning when I got in yesterday that was shutting do to save battery power. Took it to the service department two hours later for warranty replacement. Truck bought new 3 weeks short of two years ago. Thing is, it had lived a relatively easy life compared to many.
  13. Ford Nav is not ready for prime time?!?!

Android Auto preconditions. I used it.many times.

  15. EV Supplemental tax

$200 EV tax in Arkansas. Plus regular registration fees.
  16. Repair question -- minor collision

I had far less damage than that around a taillight. Final bill $5300, and they didn't have to replace sensors or calibrate anything. I would bet you are looking at more that $5K. Doesn't take much.
  17. Ford considers ending F-150 Lightning

We are EV only. Neither of us will be going back to gas or hybrid BS. Don't miss the gas station at all.
  18. What is your truck's nickname?

Franklin, as in Ben Franklin and the lightning story we all heard groww
