XLT with 312A package comes with signature lighting tailgate from the lariat and premium. That's an interesting surprise. I wanted that tailgate with the regular 12" screen so the 312A XLT is basically a Lariat in all but name and leather seats.
Thanks for putting numbers to it. This chart confirms what people thought that the higher trims would be prioritized for more profit. At least they are offering the lower trims even in limited quantities. If you were pre-stream or in the first 3 minutes of the stream I bet you could get a Pro...
I wonder if when my wave opens I should insta-lock in the build if that matters. I am glad I have everything I want picked out for each trim if I am forced to go up market. That is if I am even a MY22.
Its rough to be spot number 5 at Chapman when they said they are only getting less than 5. I think I might cry.
Also what's up with Ford only producing 10,000 for 2022 I thought it was at least 15,000?
XLT is looking more promising to me. I really want physical controls for AC and I don't like leather seats so that rules out Lariat+. If Pro is going to be delayed/sold out by my order time I would be fine with an XLT.
I am curious to see where you end up in that line since you said you transferred over like I did. I reserved in the first 5 minutes of the presentation. I wonder if they put the transfers at the back
I agree with this, I bet realistically larger dealerships get 15 or less and smaller ones get like 5. I have chalked the 2022MY up to a beta test to make myself feel better.
Chapman had over 160 reservations I would expect since they got cut short on Bronco allocations they may only get 25 or less for the 2022 MY. As an early reservation who switched over to them they told me to expect to wait until 2023+.
Yeah it sounds like they are prioritizing prior customers who get to skip the line. That is very annoying to those first time buyers, but I can see why they would do it. I know my dealership has over 150 reservations and therefore can use 25 line skips.
