As a licensed contractor, I can say with certainty that your diagram is misleading at a minimum and blatantly WRONG at the extreme. Either fix it or delete it please.
The "meterbase" also has a rating. Unless it is rated at 200 amps, it is a code violation. Most meters also have a MAIN breaker...
Impossible to give an answer. Slope, ruts (ground clearance), and whether the snow is fresh powder or hard ice underneath are all huge factors. You should head over to the Bronco forum for many hints on tires, tire pressures, and ground clearance.
Sadly, it is true. Each dealer's friends and big customers can be placed ahead of you. It was shocking to learn that priority orders are a thing. If Ford runs it like the Bronco orders, your timestamp means little.
Be very careful about switching dealers. The Bronco order board turned into a fiasco. The C8 Corvette did as well. Be patient.
Huge dealers have more pressure to serve their buddies. I am going to stay within my area and will only switch if my current dealer starts playing price games.
Sorry, using "hack" wasn't clear. I was referring to homemade connectors, harnesses, code. A guy is fully documenting his build on the DIY forum. The Lexus is a successful swap but not my cup of tea. I won't get off track with the details. The fact that it sits where the trans sits is a huge...
someone on another forum went to his dealer with his credit card
no sale
As I said, without the Ford controller, it's a boat anchor. (Or hacked, which seems silly to have to hack it to get a third party controller to work)
Bippers,
What about the controller? You didn't mention it at all in your analysis. The Lexus trans is a complete hack (that's ok but not for me). Until Ford offers the controller, it's vaporware. I would be all over it if I could buy the controller.
Quick! Cancel immediately! It's a complete chit show. :poop:
Seriously, given that it is a new chassis, drive system, software, battery pack, let's let Ford work on getting the IMPORTANT stuff right. A piece of trim that looks off when shot from a certain angle isn't something I would worry about.
I wonder if Greene would be ok with a variable rebate based on how much you put IN. Not likely. He loves the Robinhood system - take from the rich and give to the poor.
You don't know me or anyone else on this forum. I do know for certain that you are embarrassing yourself.
The only rebate available is $7500, taken as a tax credit in your next tax year. There are no limits to the cost of the truck.
Everything else is wishful thinking.
"Cry me a river. You know what is more offensive? Giving someone who makes $100k a HUGE credit while giving someone who makes $50k much, much less of a credit for doing the exact same thing."
A person who makes $50,000 a year has no business spending a year's salary on a vehicle.
You nailed it. One more observation: The Pro ER crowd will stomp their feet instead of taking the SR battery, losing 50 miles. I wonder if they scream at the Toyota salesman because the gas tank on the car they want is slightly too small.
