I Absolutely agree! I’ve heard some positive feedback about Google but having an iPhone I haven’t been able to try it. Apple keeps planning for me to arrive with 20% SOC to a charger so that makes me crazy and it also doesn’t tell you where the heck it’s sending you. None of put it all...
Yeah ABRP sent me there which was odd because the original plan I made in the app should have had me stop in Barstow. I’m not sure why it rerouted me. I did end up in Needles with only 10 miles of range left so not sure if Yermo was somehow closer or different wind and it thought I wouldn’t make...
I used A Better Route Planner for most of the trip. For the 3rd video I try using Apple EV Route Planning on my way home and doing exactly what it says and the results were not great. Stay tuned for that video later next week!
Our final family road trip with the OG SR Lightning before it died. Part 1 kicks off our journey from the Bay Area on our way to Phoenix, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon to come in a later video. This EV adventure was unforgettable.
Swapped out my tonneau cover this week. My old one was easy to install and remove, but it only gave me 2/3 bed access and wasn’t ideal for bigger loads. The new AL4 folds all the way up. Just finished the install and comparison video about it. what do you guys think??
It’s with the Car Scanner App in Apple CarPlay and uses an OBD 2 dongle so that you can see the data and there are like a dozen different menus to choose from
Yeah I’m not sure how they are showing such a bug improvement and the Ford engineer also said their wind tunnel showed improvement but I definitely didn’t see it in the real world nor did the show. There is a video done with a Rivian that I have linked in the description of my video that also...
Yeah the same thing that makes it easy to remove does make it vulnerable. Recently they added an option for the double hinge to have a latch and the new AL4 has rails and is really secure.
I tried my best man lol ? In fairness I did make sure the tire pressure was the same. I drove from the Bay Area 90 minutes to the middle of CA so the tires and battery temp were warmed up before the first loop and did it from 11-4 and the outside temp stayed within 2 degrees ?
That’s awesome ? did you use my link and discount code? Just don’t expect it to help your range but it sure will look cool and protect your cargo ??
