  1. Dash Cam Setups

FYI... I did an in depth write up of my Blackvue 900s-2ch with power magic pro hardwire install in this thread. Blackvue DR900s-2CH Dashcam + Power Magic Pro Hardwire Install
  2. Box Link Cleat Install Problems

Odd, my brackets weren't covered in the factory bedliner material.
  3. Box Link Cleat Install Problems

Oddly enough I just got done installing mine after my Retrax Pro XR. They slid / wiggled right in with very little resistance. Lock side down, ensure it's unlocked by turning the key clockwise, and slide that shit in. Was done with all 4 in less than a minute.
  4. Screen mirrorring

No, there is no functionality to cast an individual app or the phone's screen to the infotainment screen. Your best bet is to get a portable monitor that accepts HDMI and use the following adapter with your iPhone. Apple lightning digital AV adapter - https://amzn.to/3qrmcF0 15.6 inch portable...
  5. 12 volt plug always hot?

Oh my bad! Haven't had enough coffee this morning apparently
  6. 12 volt plug always hot?

Hmm, if that's the case, I'll need to do some more research. There must be a constant hot in that panel somewhere, they wouldn't just shut off the entire BCM fuse box for sleep mode...
  7. 12 volt plug always hot?

Here's the write up I did on installing my hardwire dash cam kit. It includes a module called a Power Magic Pro that allows you the ability to enable or disable the ability for the camera to run off the battery when the vehicle is off. It also monitors the voltage of the battery and will shut...
  8. Screen mirrorring

Not currently, there was an addon module for older sync screens, but nothing that I've seen yet that allows this functionality on the Sync 4 systems.
  9. Blackvue DR900s-2CH Dashcam + Power Magic Pro Hardwire Install

So a while ago I said I was going to do an in depth write up on transferring my Blackvue DR900s-2CH from my Grand Cherokee into my new truck. Little did I know it was going to take nearly 6 months to get my truck, but alas the day has finally arrived! For those of you who don't know what a...
  10. Keypad/ Keyless lockpad appreciation thread.

I found it easier to set my own pin through the sync screen rather than memorize the factory code but that's just me :ROFLMAO:
  11. Streaming from phone to screen?

No, this is a massive safety hazard for distraction during driving. Even if you say it's for your passengers and you're not going to be the one watching, you're going to be distracted and tempted to glance over and sneak a peak to see what's going on. Get an iPad and let your passenger watch...
  12. Virginia [FS] Retrax Pro XR (New In Box) $1200 - Richmond, VA - Pickup Only (Local offer in process)

Have local offer, will repost if it falls through.
  13. Over the air updates: WiFi needed?

OTA updates from any manufacturer RARELY go out to everyone at the same time. Some of this is to reduce load on the distribution servers. Otherwise it's to isolate potential issues with the first rollouts. They wait for feedback on the initial rollout and then stagger the rollout to a wider...
  14. Hotspot

The Ford line of communication for over the air updates is independent of you activating the Hotspot. You do not connect the Ford to your WiFi. Ford pays AT&T for each vehicle they have sold for this functionality.
  15. Hotspot

You're thoughts are correct. No it's not 5G, it's a different carrier so your coverage may be better in certain places Verizon isn't (however my experience has been Verizon has the best out of the way coverage out of anyone). I too have unlimited data on my Verizon plan, and see no need to...
  16. Raptor grille on 2021 F150?

Well, seeing as there isn't a 2021 Raptor yet, and the 2021's are still quite new. I'm guessing the aftermarket parts makers haven't had enough time to retrofit that design.
