So get out there and enjoy your instant torque (safely). EVs depreciate too quickly not to get some more smiles per kilowatt-hour, and just know that the occasional spirited driving isn't going to cause your battery health to plummet.
The simplest solution to this i found was to leave the car running overnight. Turn off the climate system and headlights. Cover the display with a towel. Pro power stays on all night .
Update the app by clicking your profile picture on the App Store and check for updates.
Add widget to control panel by pressing in an unused area of the panel , add control, scroll down to FordPass and select the control. Repeat for all desired controls.
Park somewhere you have a strong cell signal indicated from the trucks modem. Not the phone indicator. It should retry the download after a few days. Top off 12 V battery using a trickle charger. These are all things that may help. There is a lot of waiting involved.
It looks like Ford is NOT on the list of automakers who aren’t supporting CarPlay Ultra! So there is hope we can get support!
