The range is sooooo person dependent. How you drive and where you drove going to be the biggest factors. But you're right imo. 230 miles is plenty of range for most people.

There's driving off road occasionally and then there is the hobbiest version of off roading.

One of the things that makes options appealing to me is stretching to 6 or 7 years at a lower rate. The longer the loan the more risk you take however.
