I think the under load distance may end up surprising many for the electric motors have very high torque at all speeds and no gears to go through. Read where it makes it more efficient especially when under load. It will get much less range but the percentage is not the same as in ICEs.
Sounds like you should be angry with the industry for all the truck manufactures limits are based on the same. None of the other manufactures do anything any different from Ford.
I think the truck did very well with the high elevation, exceeded speed limits, exceeded weight limits and a steady 9 mile steep climb. I would say even with all the exceeded issues, you would be just fine towing that much weight with normal roads and elevation more commonly found .
I have had this one on my last 3 trucks and it fit everyone of them to the 2021. Getting my money's worth for sure, I really like it. I like how it sits in mostly unused bed space and no drilling installation.
I have the 21 PowerBoost my wife has a 20 Lexus RX350 and our toy is a 21 Mazda Miata. I sold my 2016 Hellcat Challenger recently because the value had jump up so much on it I decided time to play with something else. These Miata's are a blast to drive.
I feel you are right about the charging times but with the new tech and the jump in available or soon to be available EV models exploding at a very high rate, I think you will start seeing that 1% to start growing at a very high rate.
If tax rebates increase as has been suggested and appears to...
Looks like Ford has decided which system they plan to back for the move to SSB.

I just did the flat area and a small portion of a small bend. Covered about 90% I would say, if I had any skill laying this stuff you could easly do the entire front surface. All of the head light surface is covered.
This is an excellent and some really great discussion of possibility's based on fact, science and experiences, I love it.
EVs are the future, which I think all in this thread will agree. There are many benefits to this type of power-train. They will evolve over time to no telling what as years...
Me as well, got my PowerBoost this past Jan and really loving it! I really want to finally keep a tuck for 4 years which I have never done yet. I reserved a Lightning because it was just $100 and you get it back if you don't purchase one.
I will get a Lightning next for I love all the tech and...
